In 2005, I graduated in Translation from UNESP, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in 2008, I was hired as a freelance home office translator by Royal Canin Brazil, for which until today I do translations and subtitling in the areas of veterinary medicine, engineering, quality, IT, human resources and others. My main projects were the translation of encyclopedias, informational materials, promotional materials, manuals and corporate videos.
In addition, from 2008 to 2011, I also worked for Alta Books, a Brazilian publisher, for which I translated some books of the American series "For Dummies" as Pregnancy For Dummies, Trigonometry For Dummies, Statistics I and II For Dummies and Marketing For Dummies. Besides these books, I also translate 27 Powers of Persuasion and Six Sigma: The Handbook. |
