The following program of work will be conducted on the sample provided by the client:
1. Process Mineralogy Study
(1) Chemical Composition
Spectral Semiquantitative analysis, multiple chemical analysis, and rare earth distribution analysis of the rare earth sample.
(2) Mineral Composition
Mineral composition of the ore sample. The primary focus will be on the description of the physicochemical properties of the major valuable minerals and those minerals which may have an impact on the elements of industrial value.
(3) Structural Makeup and Dissemination Characteristics
The structural makeup of the ore including the distribution and associations of the main minerals
(4) Particle Size
Determination of the particle size of the major valuable minerals in the ore
(5) Degree of Mineral Liberation
Determination of the degree of mineral liberation for the products of beneficiation tests.
(6) Distribution Trend of the Main Recovered Components
The distribution trend of the major valuable elements in the ore, and implications on beneficiation and metallurgical recovery.
(7) Evaluation of Beneficiation Concentrate Quality
The mineral composition, particle size and the degree of mineral liberation of the concentrate.
(8) Appropriateness of the major and minor component recoveries
A reasonable loss of recovered elements (rare earth) to the tailings.
An unreasonable loss of the recovered elements (rare earth) to the tailings, evaluation of the beneficiation process flowsheet.

Source text - English The Contractor will complete a detailed Technology Development program for the XXXX Project. This program will develop optimized process flowsheets and process design criteria for all the key process plant areas including, the:
• Beneficiation Process Plant
o The Beneficiation Process Plant incorporates processing of ROM ore to the production of a single or multi stream mineral concentrate.
• RE Intermediate Process Plant
o The RE Intermediate Process Plant incorporates processing of a single or multi stream mineral concentrate to the production of an RE Intermediate Product of greater than 50% TREO.
• RE Separation Process Plant
o The RE Separation Process Plant Incorporates processing of an RE Intermediate Product of greater than 50% TREO to the production of a separated RE Products for sale by the Company.
For the RE Separation Process Plant, the Contractor will complete a review of the Companies research testwork and process development completed to date and comment on areas that may require either optimization or improvement. Based on this review the Contractor and Company will agree level of Technology Development required for the RE Separation Process Plant as a part of this Technology Development Program. Specific deliverables for the RE Separation Process Plant are covered in Section XXXX.
