OK – Let's keep this really short then:

– Native Swede, 43 years of age.

– Freelance translator EN<->SWE on several major sites (UpWork/Freelancer) since 2009.

– Background (major) in Press/Communication studies/Linguistics/Literature/English from Lund University, Sweden.

Previous work included extensive localization of a database for the largest search engine provider known today, while also taking on translation assignments on a daily basis for other major firms.

The CAT tools that I most frequently use are Trados Studio 2019/2021 and MemoQ, but I also do some occasional work in Wordfast, Alchemy Catalyst, Lingobit Localizer and in various CMS tools such as XTM, Lokalise, Smartling and many more.

My main area of expertise is software documentation, IT, marketing, games, audio devices, home appliances, and (being a musician) arts/music.

My average rate for translation is normally in the region of EUR 0.09/word.
