Cláusula 3a - O preço da compra e venda é de US$1.225.000,00 (hum milhão duzentos e vinte cinco mil dólares norte americanos).
Cláusula 4a - O preço será pago, pela EMPRESA 1 à EMPRESA 2, da seguinte forma:
I - Sinal do valor de US$85.178,87 (oitenta e cinco mil, cento e setenta e oito dólares, e oitenta e sete centavos norte americanos), através de depósito bancário realizado na data de 23 de julho de 2010, convertidos a taxa cambial do dia, equivalente a R$150.000,00 (cento e cinquenta mil reais).
II - E saldo no valor de US$1.139.821,13 (hum milhão, cento e trinta e nove mil, oitocentos e vinte e um dólares, e treze centavos norte americanos), será pago à vista na data do faturamento, na sua quantia equivalente em reais considerando para efeito de conversão cambial o preço de venda do dólar do dia do efetivo fturamento.
§ 1. Se a EMPRESA 1 não pagar qualquer das parcelas indicadas acima, incidirão juros de mora de 1% (um por cento) ao mês, atualização monetária pelo IGPM-FGV, tudo a contar da data deste contrato até o efetivo pagamento, além de multa de 10% (dez por cento) sobre o saldo pendente.

Clause Three – The purchase and sell price is US$1,225,000.00 (one million, two hundred twenty five thousand dollars USD).
Clause Four – COMPANY 1 shall make the payment to COMPANY 2 by the following method:
I – Earnest payment in the amount of US$85,178.87 (eighty five thousand, one hundred seventy eight dollars, eighty seven cents USD) made by bank deposit, performed on the 23rd of July, 2010 and converted to the exchange rate of the day, equivalent to R$150,000.00 (one hundred fifty thousand Brazilian Reals).
II – Balance in the amount of US$1,139,821.13 (one million, one hundred thirty nine thousand, eight hundred twenty one dollars, thirteen cents USD) shall be paid in cash on the date of invoice, in its equivalent amount in Brazilian Reals, considering for this purpose the US dollar exchange rate at the time of the effective payment.
§ 1. If COMPANY 1 does not pay any of the above specified installments, COMPANY 1 shall incur a 1% (one percent) per month interest for late payment, adjustment for inflation by GPI-DS (General Price Index – Domestic Supply) initiated from the date of this agreement until the effective payment, in addition to a fine of 10% (ten percent) on the outstanding balance.

I started in movie subtitles in 2008 with a documentary called “Lowering the Camera” by Guillermo Planel. Since then I have translated a variety of films and have worked on projects from directors such as Júlio Bressane and Jura Capela. As more opportunities presented themselves, I began expanding into other areas and studying more specific terminology, focusing mainly on legal terminology.
Since 2013, I have been working mainly through translation agencies such as: Stealth Translation, SpanTech Translations, Linguistica. The workload from these agencies has principally consisted of: arbitration cases (contracts, annexes, mechanical reports, email correspondence), material for public open competitive examinations and financial documents.
I'm certified through the Specialization Course for Translators Daniel Brilhante de Brito, accepted by ATA, SINTRA and ABRATES. In addition, I have also obtained further specialization through DBB in Legal Translation.
