I am a native German and before I worked for a German computer manufacturer between 1988 and 1997 I studied business administration at the University of Paderborn in Germany. In 1997 I moved to Ghana, West-Africa, running an IT services business for more than 12 years.
In 2009 I became a dedicated professional freelance translator having gained extensive and diversified expertise within a number of domains.
My translation services combine excellent expertise within the requested domains (IT, business admin, technical/automotive) with perfect knowledge of the source and target language. I am comfortably using Trados Studio 2015_R3/2017 (licensed) and Workbench. I am also experienced with UI string and SEO, developing websites in WordPress.
I am committed to provide a comprehensive service to my customers and I will always point out any queries if anything is unclear, helping them to get the intended meaning across to the end client. I only take on projects within my domain areas always guaranteeing texts flowing naturally and elegantly.

I have experience in managing large projects with word counts up to 70k and have successfully managed high work load under tight deadlines, but I am always willing to take part in smaller projects regularly, but also to test the cooperation with new partners.
