Established freelance translator with 10  years of experience in translation from English and French to Spanish. Since 2009, I have worked for a private law firm as lawyer and translator, fields in which I hold university degrees.  As well as legal functions, I have become the translation manager and have gained experience in the translation of legal, economic, financial and administrative texts. I manage different projects on a day to day basis, liaising directly with international and local customers, firm groups and various public organizations. 

I have recently completed a Master's Degree in Institutional Translation at the University of Alicante. This Master’s Degree was focused on translating for international organizations, business and trade, as well as sworn translation and varied legal systems.  

From my current location Valencia (Spain), I also work as a freelance translator since 2015, having managed diverse translations and proofreading projects for different clients and subjects, including not only legal or economic-related texts, but also political, human rights and other educational materials.

Due to my background and continued involvement in diverse projects I hold good communication skills, excellent analytical and proofreading skills and the ability to prioritize and meet targets.

As a language enthusiast and concerned about human rights I participate as a volunteer in translation programs of the FIDH (international Federation of Human Rights) and ASF (avocats Sans Frontières) .  At local level I am a  member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders & Interpreters (ASETRAD) and the Valencian Translation Association XARXA.
