I’ve was a translator for 5 years and an interpreter for three. I have taken a hiatus and been teaching French in high school and college for the past few years. I am now returning to translating. My specialties are naval/maritime/shipping. I am a retired naval officer and served in multiple ships. Additionally I am a graduate of both the French Naval War College, in Paris, and the online U.S. Naval War College, in Newport, Rhode Island. My last assignment was as Naval attaché in Tunisia, where I had to double as the interpreter, in French, for all high-level political and military meetings.
