Welcome to my profile!
I am an English and French into Spanish freelance translator with over 15 years of translation experience.
I hold a degree in English Philology from University of Zaragoza, Spain and a Master's Degree in Translation (with an specialization in English) from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
I also hold a certificate in the Post-Graduate Course on Medical Translation from the University Jaume I of Castellon. I also worked as Laboratorios Normon's in-house translator thus combining translation tasks with other duties and responsibilities such as revision of translations, active documentary search of necessary resources and reference material to produce translations, compilation of glossaries, and translation of documents requested by other departments (Quality Assurance, Marketing, etc.)
I am a member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Reviewers and Interpreters (ASETRAD), International Association of Translators and Editors of
Medicine and Sciences Association (TREMEDICA) and the Aragonese Association of Translators and Interpreters (ASATI).
After spending one year working as an in-house translator, I returned to my freelance activity, working full-time as freelance translator.
My fields of expertise are medical and pharmaceutical, technical translations, although I work in several other fields such as legal, IT, food and wine and educational material among others.
