La qualité de mes traductions tient à une méthodologie particulièrement efficace. Je m’appuie sur des outils de recherche documentaires afin de compléter d’éventuelles lacunes de compréhension résultant d’une non-correspondance de certaines notions ou termes dans le système juridique russe. Je cherche ainsi les moyens différents mais équivalents à ceux utilisés dans l’original pour établir des équivalences entre les deux langues. Pour ce faire, je me réfère aux bonnes sources, telles que les vocabulaires juridiques uni- et bilingues, sites institutionnels, codes, textes législatifs. Je confronte régulièrement le choix de reformulation à la réalité des usages en langue-cible. Je comprends les implications juridiques de chaque terme utilisé et j’accorde une importance primordiale à la dernière étape de la traduction, la relecture et l’autocorrection. Cette méthodologie rigoureuse me permet de fournir des traductions d’une grande fidélité, d’un excellent niveau rédactionnel et d’une grande précision terminologique.

The quality of my translations stems from a particularly effective methodology. I rely on a rich library of resource materials that allow me to fill in any gaps in understanding due to the absence of an exact correspondence for certain concepts or terms in the Russian legal system. This allows me to find a manner of expressing concepts that exists in the judicial system of the source language, using terminology that will be readily understood to readers who are familiar with the judicial system of the target language, and thus establish equivalences between the two languages. To do this, I use the most relevant resources, such as uni- and bilingual legal glossaries, institutional websites, criminal, penal and other legal codes and legislative texts. I regularly compare the terminological choices I make in my translations to the reality of correct usage in the target language. I understand that each term used has legal implications and I attach paramount importance to the final step of the translation; proofreading and editing. This rigorous methodology allows me to provide highly accurate translations, with an excellent level of editing and extremely precise terminology.
