Source text - English SOCIOLOGICAL THEORY
Because the social or behavioral sciences are concerned with behavior that is peculiarly human, the amount of ethically based testing that can be done is limited. We can subject rats to extreme levels of physical stress and then study their reaction to morphine, but we cannot subject human beings to similar levels of stress, expose them to morphine, and then find out whether they become drug addicts. The social or behavioral sciences have to study the etiology of drug addiction in a more circuitous manner. Sociological theory is concerned with social structures and social behavior, so it examines drug use in its social context. A sociological perspective often views drug use as the product of social conditions and relationships that cause despair, frustration, hopelessness, and general feelings of alienation in the most disadvantaged segments of the population (Biernacki 1986). The National Institute on Drug Abuse (1987) outlines factors that are associated positively with adolescent substance abuse, factors that are frequently found in deprived socioeconomic environments (most arrested cocaine and heroin users reside in disadvantaged neighborhoods [Lo 2003]):

TEORIA SOCJOLOGICZNA

Translation - English I knew that the middle ear is an air cavity with three small ossicles. The sound that reaches the tympanic membrane at the bottom of the pinna (external ear) causes the membrane to vibrate which sets in motion these three small bones - the malleus, the incus and the stapes. The flow of hearing from eardrum viewed by the doctor today (by means of speculum from the side of outer ear and the pinna) is conducted by the mentioned ossicles of the middle ear –their vibrations transmit sound to the inner ear fluid cavity, where the auditory nerve endings conduct impulses to the brain. It was obvious to me that the hammer, the anvil and the stirrup (still referring to ossicles which via lever action amplify the conducted vibrations of the eardrum) cannot carry the sound properly to the inner ear, where instead of air in the middle ear (where the ossicles are located) there is for example, sea water from the coast of Sardinia. I thought that maybe pressure equalization in the middle ear had been impaired. Well, I had no experience of ENT, yet still I found it difficult to believe that there had been a serious damage to the inner ear, even though I could not hear the sound of clicking fingers near the pinna , the vibrations of which should be conducted through the skull bone to the inner ear.

Klucząc pomiędzy kłębowiskiem hoteli dotarliśmy do Palau. Urozmaicona linia brzegowa z formacjami skalnymi, wzgórza schodzące wprost do morza, małe zatoczki, śródziemnomorska roślinność, krystalicznie czysta woda tworzą niepowtarzalne pejzaże. Słyszałem, że błyszczące ziarenka kwarcu w przybrzeżnym The Maddalena Archipelago mogą przybierać odcień różowy.
Translation - English When setting off in July to the southern fringes of Europe, fleeing from the whimsical northern summer, you expect cloudless blue sky, no rain, no inclement weather and lots of sun. Meanwhile, Sardinia treated us within 6 days to both blazing hot beach and the rain. It is believed that the most gorgeous place in Sardinia is the Emerald Coast, so called the Costa Smeralda. Its name derives from the extremely vivid, almost mesmeric colour of the sea. Wandering in the maze of hotels, we arrived in Palau. The multifarious coastline with rock formations, hills descending directly to the sea, small coves, Mediterranean flora, and crystal clear water create a unique scenery. I have heard that shiny quartz grains in the coastal Magdalene archipelago may take pink hue. On the way to Palau a tiny island of the archipelago emerged – it was called Caprera. This is where Giuseppe Garibaldi settled and passed away. He is to this day regarded in Italy as a national hero and a symbol of unity of the motherland. Garibaldi - a deputy at the time - exhausted and disappointed with the new Italian state, withdrew from the political scene and moved to the island, where he wrote his memoirs.
