Calíope traducciones is based on the collaboration of two freelance translators thrilled by words. By joining our efforts, we want to maximize the quality of our translations and offer a better service.
Our educational background:
- Degree in biology (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid)
We both have a degree in biology however we are specialized in different fields. This way we complement each other’s knowledge.
- Currently taking Degree in English studies: language, literature and culture (UNED- National Distance Education University)
As we will always want to keep learning and getting better, in addition to the degree in biology one of us is currently studying a degree in English studies.
-Official certificates in English, French and Japanese languages
We work only translating English and French to our mother tongue.
We have studied at the Official School of Languages in Madrid and done some certification exams in other official centers of languages however we agree that in order to really learn a language you have to experience it.
Our stays abroad for two years in Ireland and three months in Japan give us a wider and more precise insight regarding the use of these languages.
