Bio

Itzaris Weyman was born and raised in the Republic of Panama. She is a
graduate of Georgetown University's School of Languages and Linguistics and an
ATA- certified translator from ENG>SPA. Ms. Weyman has worked in the
translation industry for 25+ years, in Panama, Canada, Brazil and the United
States. She served as Translation Production Director in São Paulo, Brazil and
Multilingual Production Manager in Canada for Berlitz Translation Services.
During her tenure at Berlitz, Itzaris developed an expertise in quality issues
which, coupled with in-house administrative experience, allows her to bring
both linguistic and practical business perspectives to quality management
issues in translation. Ms. Weyman has also served on the Board of
Directors of FLATA (Florida Chapter of the American Translators Association -
now ATIF) and on its Nominating and Bylaws Committees.
