I have been providing language services on a freelance basis in the UK since 2010, primarily with the NHS and public service organisations. Previously, I gained experience providing language services in the Czech Republic.
Throughout my professional lifetime I have acquired numerous skills and abilities. Here are some of them:
Language skills: Apart from Czech as my mother tongue and Slovak acquired as a result of a long-standing partnership of our states, I also have a proficient command of English. Moreover, I am constantly striving to expand my knowledge and abilities. I am a holder of a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting.
Professional approach: I am punctual, organised, detail-oriented, and I strictly follow the professional code of conduct. I cherish all feedback and am driven to provide an enhanced level of customer service. My excellent work ethic has been commended by previous clients, and I am proud to say I have many satisfied customers.
Quality of service: During my experience in interpreting I have developed my memory and listening skills. I take care in conveying the correct information and make sure both interlocutors are being understood. In written translation I always work with the intended reader in mind.
