We are a professional localization company headquartered in Beijing, China.
We have eleven qualified in-house translators -- four specialized in IT
(Computer Software and Hardware), one in medicine and medical instruments,
two in telecom, two in mechanics and general electronics, and two in
business and marketing.

Our normal in-house translation production is 2000 words per person-day. And
it has been a rule that we try to designate one single in-house translator
for each project, to maximize translation quality and terminology and style
consistency.

If a project's turnaround requires two or even more translators working at
the same time, then we designate that single in-house translator to form a
project team with a few freelancers, with the former as the project lead.
The project lead is supposed to be versatile. He makes the governing
glossary, builds and maintains the TM database (if the client requires
such), create the project instructions, checklists and templates, does a
major part of the translation work, and is responsible for progress control
and overall quality assurance of the project.

Most of our freelance translators use Trados well, though only a few of them
own a copy of it, in which case, we just lend ours to them on a per-project
basis. We maintain a TM and MultiTerm database for each of our major
clients, which can be easily sorted, retrieved, updated, aggregated, and
skeletonized. We have own intranet, so that all the desktops of a project
team can share and contribute to a same TM/MultiTerm database residing on
the server. The server, protected by username-password pairs, can even be
accessed from the Internet, so that the databases are updated real time and
geographically unlimitedly. We have our own software engineers, who program
our own CAT utilities and help create our own professional on-line
dictionaries. This has been greatly expanding and enhancing the
functionalities of Trados.

We have hardcore consulting experts to refer to in every major technical
area, such as network and telecom. Most of them have years of professional
and academic experiences in their respective niche. In addition, We own
hundreds of professional books, lexicons, dictionaries and encyclopedia's,
and subscribe to dozens of magazines, journals and newsletters, for daily
references of our staff and per-project borrowing of our freelancers.

As a project manager and senior translator, I am supposed to be even more
versatile than anybody. I manage, program, translate, edit, proofread, every
day. And I'm proud of that. Whenever you outsource any project to us, I will
be the single point that you need to contact. That is, you just talk to me,
and everything will get done, fast, accurate, and professional.

Thanks for your attention and consideration. If you need more information
about our company, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Yours sincerely,

Wei
