John Taylor is probably the one biggest loser in the Euro's financial crash. He was one of the most successful Hedge Funds managers on Wall Street and had predicted the crash of the Euro. He also foresaw the possible departure of Greece from the common market way before the politicians responsible did. He had bet billions on both those points.

I have been a freelance translator between German into English and Italian to English languages for over 5 years. I have translated countless legal, financial, commercial, marketing and technical texts into English to tight deadlines. I research terms, check my work and welcome feed-back and requests for corrections from clients, and of course, positive comments.
I use Word document, SDL Trados 2015, memoQ, Memsource, MateCat, Fluency, Subtitle Edit.
I now do subtitling for fashion, current affairs, etc.
I am new to subtitling and I have had some mixed feed-back, and I am hoping to improve. I try to reflect the current spoken language as much as possible. And avoid things people do not say anymore.
I was schooled in German (mother tongue), Italian (native tongue), and an English-speaking school in England (primary and secondary). Well read and knowledgeable on current affairs.
