Translation - English I was born forty years ago in a small village, on the Italian side of Switzerland. Novazzano is a small paradise, almost completely uncontaminated in nature. No unemployment, and its inhabitants are day dreamers.
After college I started to work for a Swiss Bank. At the beginning I was working for the credit department, but then was switched into the wealth management department where I assisted high net worth investors, and customized and sophisticated services and products.
This job turned out to be very interesting because I had the chance to be in touch with many different customers, and also because I have been able to use derivatives that are risk related to currency, stocks and interest rates. The bank also allowed me the possibility to work three months in London where I ended up meeting my ex-wife.
After our marriage, we decided to move to Berne because of my ex wife's job. At the Swiss capital I was hired for the Swiss xxxxxxxxxxx (xxxx). According to the new rules in the Swiss fiscal law, a new division was created by the xxxx to avoid tax fraud and crime committed by individuals or more generally by enterprises.
For Fifteen years I have been working in this department and I have lead/taken care of several inquiries for important cases in tax fraud and crime. To improve my tax acknowledgement, in the year 2000 I decided to follow a master in internal fiscal law where I became “dipl. Steuerexperte” certificated.
The xxxx put me in charge of appointing classes and writing articles regarding my work experiences, a.i. about derivatives, trust and fiscal penal law. It was my duty to represent my employers at workshops and conferences abroad. Last year I took part at the IFA congress in Rome where I had the fortune to meet Professor xxxxxx who introduced me to a master in international fiscal law.
I decided to join this course because my country has always been very closed concerning tax matters offering any mutual assistance, and they remained only partially integrated in tax networks.
Following the federal councils decision on, March 13 2009 to extend administrative mutual assistance in accordance with Art. 26 of the OECD MC, Switzerland is now opening this door. Therefore in the future my employers will need specialized employees to elaborate new tax treaties that exchange pricing matter and information based on mutual assistance requests. 2. Services and charges not included - The course fee does not include: extra-curricular lessons, the costs of the photocopies or any reproductions from a paper support. 6. 7. Esami CELI – Il xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx non garantisce il superamento degli esami CELI, né tutela il corsista dalle modifiche che, durante lo svolgimento del corso, venissero adottate alle disposizioni di legge in materia di esami.
8. Responsabilità e risarcimento per danni – La Direzione ed il personale del xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx non si assumono alcuna responsabilità per danni a persone o a cose provocati dai partecipanti ai corsi prima, durante e dopo l’orario di lezione. Così pure nessun obbligo di custodia e nessuna responsabilità per smarrimento e/o furto e/o danno di oggetti personali dei partecipanti al corso. I danni, di qualsiasi natura arrecati ai locali ed ai materiali della scuola e/o dell’edificio che li ospita, dovranno essere immediatamente risarciti dai corsisti che li hanno cagionati, anche in via solidale con altri corsisti coautori dei predetti danneggiamenti. Obbligo di pagamento del corso – Il corsista si impegna ad adempire all’obbligazione relativa all’integrale pagamento del corso anche nel caso in cui fosse espulso dalla scuola oppure decida di rinunciare agli studi, di trasferirsi in un’altra scuola e/o sospendere momentaneamente gli studi. Nell’ipotesi in cui il presente contratto sia stato stipulato da parte del Genitore/Tutore/Curatore/Amministratore di Sostegno che esercita la potestà sul minore fruitore del corso, il quale divenga maggiorenne nel corso dell’anno scolastico, le obbligazioni di natura economica – nessuna esclusa – continueranno a gravare in solido sul firmatario del contratto, anche quale garante, nonché sul corsista divenuto maggiorenne.
10. Foro competente – Per la competenza giudiziaria relativa alle controversie derivanti dal presente contratto si rinvia alle disposizioni di Legge in materia.
