An open-label, multicenter study.
PARTICIPANTS:
Subjects who completed the controlled treatment phase 1 of 3 prospective, randomized, 2-year clinical trials of XXXX were eligible for enrollment. Analyses were performed for 3 groups: (1) patients treated with XXXX in the initial study; (2) patients randomized to control who crossed over to receive XXXX and (3) XXXX-naïve subjects.
METHODS:
XXXX 0.5 mg was administered at the investigator's discretion. Adverse events (AEs) and Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) assessments were conducted at study visits every 3 to 6 months.
PARTICIPANTES
Se eligieron sujetos que completaron la fase 1 del tratamiento controlado de 3 ensayos clínicos de XXXX, prospectivos, aleatorizados con duración de dos años. Se realizaron análisis en 3 grupos: (1) pacientes tratados con XXXX en el estudio inicial; (2) pacientes asignados aleatoriamente al grupo de control que fueron trasladados al grupo al que se le administró XXXX y (3) pacientes no tratados con XXXX anteriormente.
