I am an English to Spanish freelance translator. I just completed my certification in Translation Studies at the University of Chicago. Some years ago I worked as a translator for an agency and I translated textbooks for companies like Silver Burdett, Scott Foresman, Harcourt Brace and others. I have extensive experience teaching Spanish to native students as well as teaching Spanish as a Second Language. As a translator I am interested in the fields of education, psychology, and literature because they are related to my previous experience as a teacher. Other fields that interest me are medical, legal and advertising.
