I am a native UK English speaker with a degree in French and German and over ten years of translation and localisation experience, gained through two years of in-house translation and localisation positions, followed by 10 years of full-time freelance translation work.

I've honed my language skills and cultural awareness through extended periods of travel and living abroad, notably including eight years living and working in France (Aix en Provence, Lille, Strasbourg, and now Voujeaucourt) and two years living and working in French-speaking Canada (Montréal). I moved back to France in 2017 and continue to use both French and English on a daily basis in both my personal life and on a professional basis.
