My name is Shan Wu. I'm a Chinese (Mandarin) native speaker based in Cork, Ireland, fluent in both spoken and written English.

I obtained my BA in English Literature & Mathematics, MA in Applied Linguistics.

I have 4 yrs+ of language teaching & cross-cultural educator experience in both China and Ireland.

I have 10 yrs+ of Chinese(Mandarin)<-->English translation & interpretation experience.

Translation projects include marketing materials, academic publications, commercial websites, personal blogs, business plans, technical instructions.

Interpretation projects include simultaneous/consecutive interpretations for business meetings, high level conferences, interviews in various scenarios, online courses, tour guides, product release ceremonies.

Now I work as a project manager in a Fortune Global 500 IT company, with 4 yrs+ industrial immersion in IT and manufacturing.
