I am a native Italian speaker with a certified native command of English. I have developed my translation experience in different fields, but my specialities are Law and Business. I worked for years in the sales department of two important multinational companies based in Italy and travelled a lot for work, meeting many people along the way. This helped me grow my culture-oriented attitude and improve my language and intercultural skills. I believe that mediating languages means mediating cultures.

I hold a PhD in European Languages and Terminology Studies from Parthenope University of Naples. Prior to that, I graduated in Linguistics from L’Orientale in Naples in 2006 and was further educated in TEFL at the London Teacher Training College in London (2009), in Terminology, Translation, Intercultural Mediation respectively at Catholic University Of Sacred Heart in Milan (2010), Sapienza University in Rome (2011), and Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples (2012).

After some experience as EFL teacher at the Military Academy of Viterbo, I turned to academic teaching.

I am now a researcher in English linguistics and translation at the Tuscia University of Viterbo-IT, where I convene a 60-hour module in English language and translation for undergraduates and co-teach a Legal English module.

I provide freelance translation services for the private and public sectors. I have translated extensively from En>Ita since 2010, from engineering to financial texts, from law to editorial texts, and all my customers have always appreciated my professional and reliable way of working.
