TRANSLATION SPECIALISMS AND INTERESTS
Specialisms include: administrative and business texts, EU matters, marketing texts, legal documents including contracts, judgments and appeals, sociology, the environment and renewable energy. I have completed several large financial translation projects for which I received good feedback. I am keen to work in medical translation and am developing my working knowledge of this field, having already undertaken projects in this area. I also have an interest in literary translation, which I pursue for personal enjoyment.
Examples of work undertaken include: birth/marriage/death certificates, medical reports, correspondence relating to medical trials, technical reports for insurance companies, employment contracts, agency agreements, factoring contracts. I have translated texts for various EU departments through a translation agency, involving a wide range of subjects, e.g. environment, agriculture, finance, employment and transport.
