Por um lado, concluiu-se haver necessidade de proceder a um estudo profundo sobre a mesma e, por outro, constatou-se que urge comunicar ao mercado, de forma adequada, todas as potencialidades que esta casta contém. No interessante debate realizado em que estiveram presentes alguns dos mais destacados enólogos portugueses e muitos especialistas internacionais ligados ao vinho, - tais como, por exemplo, Jancis Robinson, Charles Metcalfe e Paul White - foi reconhecido que deve ser realizado um levantamento dos descritores de aromas da casta, bem como proceder à avaliação do comportamento da Touriga Nacional, quer estreme quer em lote.
Translation - English There are two major conclusions to take from the international conference about this emblematic Portuguese wine variety, which took place in Porto, two weeks ago. On one hand, there is the need to make a profound study about it and, on the other hand, we found out that there is the urge to let the market know, in a proper way, about the full potential that this variety has. In the interesting debate that took place, which was attended by some of the most prominent Portuguese winemakers and many international specialists in the wine business, - like, for example, Jancis Robinson, Charles Metcalfe and Paul White – it was acknowledged that a survey from the variety’s flavour descriptors must me made, along with an evaluation of the Touriga Nacional behaviour, both in a pure and in a combined state.

Ao permitir ao feixe de molas que suportava o peso do corpo flectir livremente, os fortes golpes das estradas de então eram suavizados de forma substancial.
