Born and raised in Sweden, I spent nearly 20 years abroad perfecting my language skills, including 15 years in Iceland, three years in Australia and two years in the UK. I am a full-time freelancer since 2010 and have ample experience translating for the EU institutions and leading Swedish and international companies. I also have several years' experience of both post-editing and transcreation.

I studied literature, languages and translation at university, and in my free time I take an interest in gardening, cooking, dancing, furniture restoration, and sustainable living.

While much of my work involves formal texts where attention to detail and exactness is of the utmost importance, I also particularly enjoy the stylistic freedom that comes with transcreation and marketing projects.
