Klasyczne wyjaśnienie kryzysów finansowych zawsze odnosiło się do kilku etapów. Na początku następował nadmiar bogactwa, prowadzący do ożywienia gospodarki, a na koniec dochodziło do nieuniknionego załamania. Ostatni kryzys zawierał wszystkie te elementy, czyli był boom mieszkaniowy i załamanie prowadzące do perturbacji na rynkach finansowych.
W pewnym momencie boomu doszło do sytuacji wzmożonego zawieszania spłat długów przez kredytobiorców, nie tylko ze względu na brak możliwości opłacenia wysokich odsetek, ale również zaniku motywacji do spłacania rat. Dłużnicy banków zaczęli odczuwać, że cena kredytów znacznie przekracza wartość ich nieruchomości, więc utracili chęci do pracy na rzecz spłaty długu.
To jednak nie koniec przyczyn, które skumulowane wywołały tornado na rynkach finansowych. Problemy zostały zwielokrotnione poprzez przenoszenie ryzyka związanego z udzielanymi kredytami subprime na wierzycieli.

Experts usually divide financial crises into a few stages. First, people are getting wealthier and wealthier, which leads to an economic boom. Eventually, there comes an inevitable economic breakdown. All of these stages could be observed in the last economic crisis: there was a real estate boom and then an economic breakdown leading to the commotion on the financial markets.
There was a certain moment in this boom when lenders stopped paying off their debts, not only because they were not able to cover the cost of high interest rates, but also because they had no motivation to pay the instalments. Bank debtors had begun to feel that they had to pay much more than their properties were actually worth. Consequently, they gave up paying off their loans.
There were, however, many other reasons, which brought together, caused the turmoil on the financial markets. The problems were exacerbated, because the subprime credit risk had become the burden of the creditors.

Source text - English New research carried out by a major translation company shows that multilingual websites are becoming a vital addition to business communications.
thebigword analysed the websites of every company in the Fortune 500, the ranking of America´s largest corporations carried out annually by Fortune Magazine.
The research found that 58% of America´s largest companies currently have multilingual websites. This is extremely positive for the localisation industry and for global business as a whole. As over half of the largest organisations in the USA are providing customers with information in several languages, it can´t be long until a consistent multilingual web presence is seen as a necessity.
Companies at every level of the Fortune 500 have multilingual websites, but there is a slight correlation between the size of the organisation and whether or not it has a multilingual website. 70% of the largest 20 companies in the Fortune 500, including giants like Wal-Mart and General Motors, have some degree of localised content. For the 20 smallest companies in the Fortune 500, the proportion with translated content falls to 50%.

Firma „thebigword” zanalizowała witryny internetowe wszystkich przedsiębiorstw, które znalazły się w rankingu pięciuset największych amerykańskich korporacji „Fortune 500”, przeprowadzanym co rok przez magazyn „Fortune”.
Badanie wykazało, że 58% największych firm w Ameryce posiada obecnie strony wielojęzyczne. Jest to zjawisko niezwykle pozytywne z punktu widzenia przemysłu lokalizacyjnego oraz ogólnie dla biznesu na świecie. W związku z tym, że ponad połowa organizacji w USA dostarcza klientom informacje w kilku językach, niedługo zapewne koniecznością stanie się wyraźna wielojęzyczna obecność w sieci.
Firmy posiadające strony wielojęzyczne zajmują rożne pozycje w rankingu „Fortune 500”, ale występuje pewna zależność między wielkością przedsiębiorstwa i tym, czy ma ono taką stronę. Spośród dwudziestu największych korporacji w rankingu 70% posiada witryny w pewnym stopniu zlokalizowane, w tym tacy giganci jak Wal-Mart czy General Motors. Dla porównania spośród dwudziestu najmniejszych firm odsetek tych, których strony są przetłumaczone na inne języki spada do 50%.
