I have translated/proofread various types of documents (e.g., business correspondence, operation manuals, invoices, contracts, certificates, website contents, tourist information, audio-taped academic lectures, magazine and journal articles, and research proposals).

I earned a bachelor's degree in English Language from a university in Japan, a master's degree in Women's Studies and a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from universities in the United States. I have worked in educational institutions, an automobile-related manufacturer, and a travel agency. I have about five years of experience as a freelance Japanese-English translator in the fields above.
