Unsupported
If the upper run of the Chain operates without touching the lower run over the entire travel, it is called an "unsupported" application.
Unsupported length
The distance between moving end and the beginning of the radius curve of the Chain is called the "unsupported length." It is always dependent upon the type of Chain and the fill weight.
Unsupported applications
The "unsupported" application is the most common. Chains are very well suited for high dynamics and long service life.
Unsupported length
The maximum unsupported length is dependent upon the fill weight and the type of Chain or Tube. As a result, we differentiate among three types of unsupported length:
Example for unsupported straight FLG
01) Unsupported with straight upper run FLG
The "FLG" Chain applies when the upper run either has camber, is straight, or has a maximum of 10-50 mm sag, depending on the size of the chain. The "FLG" type of installation is always preferred. The Chain runs quietly and is not exposed to any additional vibration.
02) Unsupported with permitted sag FLB
The "FLB" Chain applies when the sag amounts to more than 10-50 mm, depending on the chain size, and less than a defined maximum sag. This maximum sag is dependent on the type of chain. The "FLB" application is technically permissible in many cases. It becomes problematic if the acceleration and the travel frequency are high.
03) "Critical sag"
If the sag is greater than permissible for " FLB ", then we refer to it as "critical sag." An installation with critical sag must be avoided or reserved for extreme circumstances. An Chain should never be installed with critical sag. There are applications which, after a very long period of use, reach the stage of "critical sag." The Chain or Tube should be replaced at that time. Please contact us if your application reaches critical sag!
The " FLG" type of installation always generates the longest service life and can be operated with the max. values for speed and acceleration.
The following important factors should be considered to select the correct Chain:

No Apoyada – Aplicaciones de Recorrido Corto
No Apoyada
Si el recorrido superior de la Cadena opera sin tocar el recorrido inferior en toda su extensión, se le llama aplicación “no apoyada”.
Longitud No Apoyada
La distancia entre el extremo movible y el comienzo del radio de curvatura de la Cadena se llama “longitud no apoyada”. Ésta siempre depende del tipo de Cadena y del peso de llenado.
Aplicaciones No Apoyadas
La aplicación “no apoyada” es la más común. Las Cadenas se adaptan muy bien para altas dinámicas y una larga vida de servicio.
Longitud No Apoyada
La máxima longitud no apoyada depende del peso de llenado y del tipo de la Cadena o Tubo. Por ello distinguimos entre tres tipos de longitud no apoyada:
Ejemplos para FLG rectas no apoyadas
01) No apoyadas con FLG rectas superiores
La cadena "FLG" se aplica cuando el recorrido superior tiene una curvatura, o es recto, o tiene una flexión máxima de 10-50 mm, dependiendo del tamaño de la cadena. La instalación tipo "FLG" es siempre preferida. La cadena opera silenciosamente y no está expuesta a ninguna vibración adicional.
02) No apoyadas con flexión permitida FLB
La cadena "FLB" se aplica cuando la flexión es más de 10-50 mm, y menos de una flexión máxima determinada, dependiendo del tamaño de la cadena. Esta flexión máxima depende del tipo de cadena. La aplicación "FLB" es permisible técnicamente en muchos casos. Se vuelve problemática si la aceleración y la frecuencia de recorrido son elevadas.
03) "Flexión Crítica"
Si la flexión es mayor que la permisible para "FLB", entonces nos referimos a ésta como "flexión crítica". Una instalación con flexión crítica debe evitarse o reservarse para circunstancias extremas. Una Cadena con flexión crítica nunca debe instalarse. Hay aplicaciones en las que, después de un largo período de uso, se alcanza la fase de “flexión crítica”. La Cadena o Tubo deben reemplazarse en ese momento. ¡Por favor contáctenos si su aplicación alcaza la flexión crítica!
La instalación tipo " FLG" siempre genera la más larga vida de servicio y puede operarse a los máximos valores de velocidad y aceleración.

The time and data memory can display up to 30 variables of a particular data type.
The Bflag automation classes are provided for all the data types available in Melody
(Real, Integer, Duration, Long Duration, Boolean, Clock and Packed Boolean).
Section 12 MelodyOPA – Binary Memory
Features
The binary memory (MelodyOPA) automation class allows a pre-configured binary
memory from Melody to be displayed in a data structure in OperateIT Process Portal
A.
The binary memory has an operating mode memory and has dynamic and static set
and reset inputs.

Section 18 MelodyTotal – Totalizer
Features
The quantity acquisition (MelodyTotal) automation class allows pre-configured
quantity acquisition in Melody to be displayed in a data structure in OperateIT
Process Portal A.
The pre-configured automation function in Melody is used for highly accurate
integration/summation of analog or binary input signals. Summation can take place
continuously or be reset periodically.
Alongside the actual summation function, functions such as replacement and
alternative value processing and limit value checking are implemented.

Características

Características
La clase de automatización adquisición de cantidades (MelodyTotal) permite que la adquisición de cantidades pre-configurada en Melody se despliegue en una estructura de datos del Portal A de Procesos OperateIT.
La función de automatización pre-configurada en Melody se utiliza para la integración / totalización de alta precisión de señales de entradas analógicas o binarias. La totalización puede realizarse continuamente o ser reiniciada periódicamente.
Junto con la función de totalización real, están implementadas funciones como la de reemplazo y procesamiento alternativo de valores y la de chequeo de los valores límite.
