Bio

I’m a native Hungarian translator graduated in Italian language and literature and living in Italy (definitely, since 2009). Actually, I also have the Italian citizenship and I consider myself bilingual. I also translate from Spanish and English languages and I’m in possess of the related language certifications, as well.

Over the past two years I have been working with a translation agency, responsible for the translation of EU documents from all European languages into Hungarian. I have a substantial experience in the translation of the documents (CoR, amendments etc.) for the European institutions, mainly from Italian and Spanish. Thanks to this experience and to the field-related webinar, I can say I am securely familiar with EU terminology databases and legislation.

I’m also collaborating with other agencies, mostly in marketing projects or in the translation of manuals, training courses, human security documents etc. In this sense, another area of specialization is the one related to the airline companies. Furthermore, I like literature very much and some years ago I took part in a literary translation training (Italian-Hungarian) by correspondence, so I would appreciate the opportunity to work on a similar project.

As for the CAT tools, I work in SDL Trados Studio 2017 Freelance.

I am very accurate and punctual, paying special attention to the spelling and the grammar of the final documents, trying to find out the most appropriate expressions of my beautiful, fascinating and rich mother tongue, which is the best way to stay in touch with my roots.

Keywords: italian, spanish, hungarian, EU documents
