Source text - English 5.4. Operating Modes
There are three operation modes.
The first mode is the Manual Mode. In this mode the operator can manually control the three axis (X, Y, and the Conveyor) of the Crane.
The second mode is the Semi-Automatic Mode. This mode is only used to position automatically the transfer in front of an aisle and to move automatically, the crane, to the transfer car or to the Input / Output conveyor.
The third mode is the By-Pass mode. This mode is only used for maintenance.
5.5. Securities
There are several security sensors installed on the Crane.
The following sensors are provided for that purpose:
Rail detection sensor
Slack rope and overweight sensor
Over-speed sensor
Slack rope on over-speed sensor
Door open sensor
Travelling and hoisting limit switches
Using those sensors and the ones for manoeuvring aid, the PLC will detect any unsafe condition. When one of these conditions is met the Crane and transfer will stop. It is only possible to star the Crane and transfer again when the condition is no longer present.

5.5. Sicherungen
In das RBG sind folgende Sicherungssensoren eingebaut:
Schienenerkennungssensor
Schlaffseil- und Überladungssensoren
Geschwindigkeitsüberschreitungssensor
Sensor für schlaffe Seile bei zu hoher Geschwindigkeit
Türöffnungssensor
Endschalter für das Fahren, Anheben und Versetzen
Mit Hilfe dieser und der für den Manövriervorgang eingebauten Sensoren erkennt die SPS jede unsichere Situation. Wenn eine der Situationen eintritt, werden das Versetzgerät und das RBG angehalten. Versetzgerät und RBG können erst wieder gestartet werden, wenn die Situation sich wieder normalisiert hat.

I have translated medical texts, standards on work and machinery safety, manuals (e.g. nautical equipment, cranes), building specifications (shipbuilding), manuals business correspondence, advertising letters, a website presentation, a media presentation for a publishing company, a data processing and order management programme, analysis of soil samples, poems, and a few types of texts more.
So you could basically say that I translate technical, medical and marketing texts.
After graduating from University in 2003 (Translation Studies/Diplom-Übersetzerin für Englisch und Spanisch), I have been a freelance translator since January 2004, working only by myself. I live and work in Hamburg where I used to give English and Spanish lessons as well (school children or other private people).
I did interpretation jobs at market reasearch interviews.
I have worked on trade shows, e.g. the BOAT SHOW in Hamburg where I worked as an interpretor as well. Sailing is not only part of my carrer but also a private interest.
So far, I have lived in South Africa, Spain and travelled through the Caribbean.
Furthermore, I am interested in movies, music and literature, but my professional orientation goes towards technical / medical / etc. texts.

My rates are between € 0.80 and 1.50 / line (55 strokes) or between € 0.09 and 0.15 / word depending on the level of difficulty, deadline and amount of text. My minimum charge is € 20.
