Entro i successivi quindici giorni la XXXX potrà far pervenire all’Autrice le proprie osservazioni e richiedere modifiche o integrazioni della stessa che l’Autrice provvederà ad apportare entro i successivi quindici. L’Autrice si impegna ad apportare eventuali ulterior modifiche fino all’ottenimento dei della revision definitiva, approvata dalla XXXX.
4.L’Autrice cede sin d’ora alla XXXX in esclusiva tutti i diritti di proprietà, d’autore e di sfruttamento economico sulla revision della sceneggiatura dal titolo provvisorio “XXXX”.

"All'inizio della stagione estiva, le previsioni sul movimento turistico fanno ben sperare, nonostante il difficile periodo congiunturale ed il mercato estero penalizzato dall'euro forte". A margine della presentazione del primo festival "Sul mare del Lazio", l'assessore regionale al turismo, Claudio Mancini, ha parlato delle prospettive del settore, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i Comuni litoranei e dell'apporto che la Regione Lazio intende offrire agli operatori turistico-economici. Una recentissima indagine commissionata dalla "Litorale Spa." e basata sulle indicazioni raccolte nel mese di maggio, tra 320 operatori delle località balneari del Lazio, ha esordito l'assessore Mancini, profila, per questa estate, una sostanziale tenuta del turismo lungo il litorale pontino, con una contrazione delle presenze rispetto allo scorso anno, a fronte, però, di un incremento dei nuovi arrivi, pur confermandosi la tendenza di una contrazione della durata dei soggiorni, a favore di un crescente pendolarismo, in particolare nei fine settimana e di un picco nel mese di agosto.
E dunque, per rivitalizzare il settore ed attirare nuovi flussi, occorre "esportare all'estero il nostro prodotto mare": questa, secondo l'assessore Mancini, la politica turistica che la Regione Lazio deve perseguire, accanto alle iniziative già intraprese ed ai provvedimenti adottati. Tra questi, i 33 milioni di euro già inseriti nella Finanziaria 2008, per proseguire nell'opera di risanamento ambientale e di ripascimento del litorale, accanto all'istituzione di un fondo rotativo di 12 milioni di euro, a favore delle imprese, per l'ampliamento ed il miglioramento delle strutture ricettive e balneari.
"Ma il sostegno al turismo non si dà solo con i concerti, ha aggiunto ancora l'assessore ed infatti, la Regione sta emanando una nuova classificazione delle strutture ricettive, unitamente a procedure più snelle per le varie autorizzazioni e ad una semplificazione anche delle concessioni urbanistiche". Anche il sindaco di Formia Michele Forte, presente alla conferenza, con l'assessore comunale al turismo, Fabio Pezone, é intervenuto sull'argomento, invitando, tra l'altro, gli operatori commerciali della ristorazione e dei pubblici esercizi ad un calmieramento e, se possibile, ad una riduzione dei prezzi, onde favorire la sosta e le consumazioni in città.

“At the beginning of the summer season, forecasts for tourist numbers are hopeful, despite the difficult economic period and damage to the foreign market as a result of the strong Euro". In conjunction with the presentation of the first festival “On the sea of Lazio”, the regional councillor for tourism, Claudio Mancini, spoke of the sector’s prospects, particularly with regard to the coastal Municipalities and the contribution that the Region intends to offer commercial tourist operators. Councillor Mancini states that, according to a very recent survey commissioned by "Litorale Spa", based on the information gathered during May from 320 operators on the Lazio beach resorts, there is a substantial tourist presence along the Pontino coast this summer, but with a reduction of tourist numbers in relation to last year. This is compared however to an increment of new arrivals, and also confirms the trend for shorter lengths of stay, compared with longer commutes, especially at weekends and peak season in August.
In order to revitalize the sector and to attract new influxes, there is a need to “export our seaside abroad". This, according to councillor Mancini, is the tourist policy that the Regional Authorities of Lazio must pursue, in addition to the initiatives already undertaken and measures adopted. Amongst these, 33 million Euros have already been assigned to the 2008 Budget, in order to pursue work on environmental renewal and beach nourishment, in addition to the establishment of a revolving fund of 12 million Euros, to help companies expand and improve tourist facilities and beaches.
According to councillor Mancini “supporting tourism is not only achieved through concerts and indeed the Region is issuing a new classification of tourist facilities, along with more streamlined procedures for the various permissions, as well as simplifying the town concessions” Even Michele Forte, the mayor of Formia present at the conference with Fabio Pezone, the municipal councillor for tourism, spoke on the subject, inviting among others, restaurant traders and similar establishments to implement a price-control policy and, if possible, to a reduction in prices in order to facilitate the stopover and consumption in cities.
“For my part” concluded the mayor, “I intend to liberalise opening and closing hours for premises, in order to contribute to revitalising tourist visits to Formia".

Source text - French GUIDE POUR UNE PROTECTION DURABLE DE LA VIGNE
Introduction
La filière viticole française se trouve aujourd’hui confrontée à de nombreux enjeux, dont celui de renforcer sa compétitivité face à une concurrence internationale toujours plus forte et d’assurer les débouchés nécessaires à ses productions. Elle se doit de garantir à tous les acteurs de la filière, et en premier lieu aux viticulteurs et aux vignerons, un revenu équitable.
Pour atteindre cet objectif, tous s’accordent sur la nécessité de poursuivre l’amélioration de la qualité des vins et des eaux-de-vie français.
Ceci passe naturellement au préalable par l’obtention de raisins sains, de haute qualité, c’est-à-dire présentant une maturité optimale au regard des impératifs des procès d’élaboration de chaque type de vins et d’eaux-de-vie. Cet enjeu constitue encore aujourd’hui une priorité pour la viticulture française : garantir la qualité et la régularité de la production est une nécessité pour le producteur.
L’utilisation de pesticides, encore appelés produits phytosanitaires, répond à ces impératifs agronomiques et économiques. Mais elle ne peut se réduire à cette seule dimension : ces produits doivent, pour
pouvoir être employés, respecter la santé des opérateurs, ne pas entraîner de risques pour la santé des consommateurs et ne pas altérer l’environnement. Les expériences accumulées au cours des
trois dernières décennies, résultant de l’étude des conséquences directes et indirectes de l’emploi de ces produits, révèlent l’importance d’assurer un suivi qui ne se limite pas aux seuls aspects relatifs aux productions agricoles, d’autant plus que la filière viticole est une des premières utilisatrices de produits phytosanitaires de l’agriculture française : la viticulture représentait 15,6 % du marché français des pesticides en 2002, alors que les vignobles ne constituaient que 3,2 % de la surface agricole utile.
Dans une première partie, nous identifierons les principaux risques pour la viticulture française au regard de cette utilisation importante de pesticides, avant de présenter les deux modes de gestion complémentaires pour réduire les effets des produits phytosanitaires sur la santé publique et l’environnement : d’une part, la mise en œuvre d’une protection intégrée de la vigne, s’inscrivant dans le cadre plus général d’une viticulture durable, d’autre part, les règles de bonne utilisation des pesticides.

Les principaux risques liés à l'utilisation des pesticides pour la viticulture française
La santé des opérateurs (viticulteurs et salariés viticoles)
Dans toutes les filières agricoles, la préparation et l’emploi des produits phytosanitaires peuvent étre nocifs pour l’organisme humain quand ils ne sont pas utilisés selon les règles fixées par la décision d‘autorisation de mise sur le marché. C’est pourquoi, après une phase expérimentale, la Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) a généralisé en 1997 à l’ensemble du territoire métropolitain un réseau de surveillance des incidents et accidents liés à l’utilisation professionnelle des pesticides, le réseau de toxicovigilance. Son objectif est de mieux cerner leurs effets indésirables aigus et chroniques tout en développant la prévention individuelle et collective.
Entre 1997 et 2001, le nombre de dossiers recueillis annuellement pour toutes les cultures, a varié de 120 à 280 sur la base des déclarations des professionnels exposés. D’après la MSA, le nombre de cas recensés représente probablement un faible pourcentage du nombre d’incidents, tous n’étant pas déclarés systématiquement à son réseau national de toxicovigilance.
Sur les 900 dossiers examinés, un lien significatif de cause à effet entre troubles et pesticides a été établi pour près de 660 d’entre eux, soit environ 73% du total. Les salariés agricoles représentent 75% des signalements et les exploitants 18%. A noter que la protection des travailleurs agricoles exposés aux produits phytosanitaires à usage agricole est obligatoire depuis le décret du 27 mai 1987 (code du travail). L’employeur est chargé de faire respecter cette réglementation.
La première voie de contamination par les pesticides est la voie cutanée (56 %), suivie par la voie respiratoire (40 %). Par ailleurs, une majorité de personnes n’avait utilisé aucune protection (ni vêtement, ni masque, ni gants) : en particulier, seuls 47 % des applicateurs portaient des gants lors de la préparation et 42 % lors de l’application de la bouillie.
La viticulture est le deuxième secteur le plus exposé avec près de 22 % des cas déclarés. Mises à part les productions sous serre dont le mode de culture reste le plus préoccupant sur ce point, elle est proportionnellement plus concernée par ce risque que d’autres filières. Ceci s’explique notamment par l’importance et la variété du cortège parasitaire de la vigne tout au long de la période végétative conduisant à de fréquentes interventions phytosanitaires pour garantir la qualité de la récolte (de 8 à 15 passages par campagne selon la pression phytosanitaire).
Les travailleurs manuels intervenant dans les cultures après les traitements sont également concernés. En effet, 120 cas d’incidents ont été signalés entre 1997 et 2001, avec près de 67 % des cas pour lesquels la responsabilité des pesticides a pu être imputée. Avec 49 % des incidents constatés, la viticulture est la première filière concernée par ce problème, avec une prédominance de troubles cutanés (41 %) et digestifs (22 %) dus à des fongicides, pour la plupart irritants ou sensibilisants. Le délai d’intervention après traitement est de moins de 24 heures pour 22 % des cas et moins d’une personne sur 5 porte des gants lors de la ré-entrée sur les parcelles traitées.
De nombreux travaux restent en effet largement manuels en viticulture : pliage, épamprage et ébourgeonnage, relevage, effeuillage, éclaircissage. De plus, ces tâches sont régulières tout au long de la période où les traitements phytosanitaires sont appliqués. Elles sont fréquemment réalisées par des intervenants qui n’ont souvent pas une connaissance suffisante des risques liés aux pesticides. Les femmes sont particulièrement concernées par ce problème avec près de 44% des incidents.
Les nombreux passages que nécessitent potentiellement cette culture tout au long de la saison exposent les viticulteurs et leurs salariés aux dangers inhérents à l’utilisation des pesticides. Il est donc impératif de mettre en œuvre les mesures de protection adaptée pour diminuer le risque vis-à-vis de la santé. Ces mesures peuvent être directes, par l’utilisation de protections individuelles adaptées (gants, combinaison, masque, notamment) ou indirectes, par la réduction globale des intrants et un meilleur raisonnement de la protection.

Introduction
The French wine industry is currently facing a large number of issues. Among these problems are: enhancing its competitive edge over the ever-growing international competitors and ensuring the necessary outlets for its production. It must ensure a fair income for all stakeholders of the industry, primarily vine growers and vineyard workers.
It is widely agreed that the quality of French wine and brandy must continue to be improved in order to achieve this aim.
Naturally this can be achieved in the first instance by obtaining high quality, healthy grapes, of optimum maturity in relation to the development process requirements for each type of wine and brandy. This is an issue which continues to be a priority for French viticulture – it is essential for vine growers to ensure the quality and consistency of production.
The use of pesticides, or phytosanitary products as they are still referred to, meets these agronomic and economic requirements. Other factors must however be taken into consideration. In order for these products to be used, they must not pose a threat to employee health, lead to consumer health risks or damage the environment. The experience gained over the course of the last three decades as a result of research into the direct and indirect effects of the use of these products has revealed the importance of developing a monitoring system which encompasses all aspects of agricultural production, especially since the French viticulture sector is a leading user of phytosanitary products in French agriculture. In 2002 French viticulture accounted for 15.6% of the French pesticide market, whereas vineyards accounted for only 3.2% of the net agricultural area.
The first part of this report will identify the main risks to French viticulture with regard to the extent of pesticide use. It will then set out two complimentary management methods to reduce the adverse effects of phytosanitary products on public health and the environment by examining, on one hand, the implementation of an integrated vine protection system which is part of a more general framework for sustainable viticulture and, on the other hand, will examine the procedures for good pesticide use.

Main risks linked to pesticide use in French viticulture

In every agricultural sector, the preparation and use of phytosanitary products can be harmful to human organisms if not used in accordance with the procedures required by full market approval. This is why, in 1997 after an experimental stage, the Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA) brought the toxicant monitoring network into widespread use across the whole of France to monitor incidents and accidents linked to industrial pesticide use. The aim of this network is to improve the short-lived and long-lasting undesirable effects of pesticides by developing individual and collective prevention methods.
Between 1997 and 2001, the number of reports collected annually for all agricultural sectors varied from 120 to 280 on the basis of statements from professionals exposed to pesticides. According to the MSA, the number of reported cases is likely to account for a low percentage of the number of incidents, as not all have been systematically reported to their national toxicant monitoring network.
Of the 900 reports examined, 660 established a significant cause and effect link between health hazards and pesticides (approximately 73%). Agricultural workers account for 75% in this category and farmers account for 18%. It should be noted that protecting the health of agricultural workers exposed to phytosanitary products for agricultural use has been in force since the decree of 27 May 1987 under Labour Regulations. It is the employer’s responsibility to enforce these regulations.
The most frequent route of contamination by pesticides was the cutaneous route (56%), followed by the respiratory route (40%). Other findings revealed that a large number of workers did not use any form of protective equipment such as clothing, masks or gloves: only 47% of workers wore gloves during preparation of the pesticide spray and 42% during application.
Viticulture is the second most exposed sector to, and accounts for almost 22% of reported cases. Besides glasshouse productions in which exposure to pesticides as a result of farming methods is one of the greatest concerns, viticulture is proportionally more affected by this hazard than other sectors. The amount and variety of the vine’s parasitic track throughout the course of the growing season, explains the need for regular phytosanitary interventions to ensure the quality of the yield (from 8 to 15 runs per vineyard according to the phytosanitary pressure).
Manual workers who come into contact with the vines following pesticide treatment are also affected. Between 1997 and 2001, 120 cases were reported and pesticide use was attributed as the cause of almost 67% of cases. French viticulture is the leading sector to be affected by the issue of pesticide hazards, accounting for 49% of reported cases. The most prevalent hazards are: cutaneous disorders (41%) and digestive disorders (22%) due to fungicides which cause mainly irritation or sensitivity. In 22% of cases, workers were allowed to return to the vineyard within 24 hours following treatment and less than one in five wore gloves on re-entering the treated area.
A large number of jobs in viticulture continue to be predominantly manual: folding, priming, bud pruning, lifting, leaf stripping and thinning. In addition, these tasks are carried out on a regular basis throughout the period in which phytosanitary products are applied. They are often carried out by workers who lack sufficient knowledge of the risks linked to pesticide use. Women are particularly affected by this issue and account for approximately 44% of cases.
The many runs which may require this type of farming throughout the season expose vine growers and their employees to the risks inherent in pesticide use. Implementing tailored protection measures to reduce health hazards is therefore imperative. These measures can either be direct by using individual tailored protection methods such as wearing gloves, overalls or masks, or indirect by significantly reducing intrants and improving the integrated protection system.

I was previously employed by a leading data cleansing company as head of research and as their in-house business translator.
