I left my native Finland nearly two decades ago and have since studied and worked in Chile, England, France, Spain and Wales. During the years abroad I have had the opportunity - thanks to interpreting and translation - to create connections in fascinating situations and with interesting people.
I have a degree in European Studies from the University of Portsmouth and a MA in International Journalism from Cardiff University. I have also studied translation at the Universidad de Granada, Spain. I am currently completing a PhD in linguistics at Cardiff University.
