Overview of Applications
The configuration interfaces are used to configure an Océ PRISMAproduction system.
This entails defining which computers are to belong to the network, and which printers, job classes, etc. are to be made available for users to choose from.
You also use the configuration interfaces to define, manage and modify resources and permit resource sharing, and to make general system settings.
The configuration data is stored in the central database on the master.
This data is available to all the computers in the network.
You can edit the configuration data on the master via any of the servers in the system.
The users admin and service are authorized to edit configuration data; the users applic and operator can only access the data for viewing.
Click -> 'Configuration' in the Océ PRISMAproduction View menu.
All configuration applications appear one below the other and can be launched with a single click of the mouse.
If you click with the right mouse button in the list, you can sort the entries alphabetically.
The manual presents the descriptions of the configuration interfaces in the order of the list shown below.

Source text - English Something is wrong when regulatory agencies pretend that vitamins are dangerous, yet ignore published statistics showing that government-sanctioned medicine is the real hazard.
Until now, Life Extension could cite only isolated statistics to make its case about the dangers of conventional medicine. No one had ever analyzed and combined ALL of the published literature dealing with injuries and deaths caused by government-protected medicine. That has now changed.
A group of researchers meticulously reviewed the statistical evidence and their findings are absolutely shocking.4 These researchers have authored a paper titled “Death by Medicine” that presents compelling evidence that today’s system frequently causes more harm than good.
This fully referenced report shows the number of people having in-hospital, adverse reactions to prescribed drugs to be 2.2 million per year. The number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections is 20 million per year. The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million per year. The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million per year.
The most stunning statistic, however, is that the total number of deaths caused by conventional medicine is an astounding 783,936 per year. It is now evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the US. (By contrast, the number of deaths attributable to heart disease in 2001 was 699,697, while the number of deaths attributable to cancer was 553,251.5)

Questo rapporto estremamente circostanziato rivela come ogni anno 2,2 milioni di pazienti ospedalizzati siano vittima di una reazione avversa a farmaci1, 7,5 milioni di persone vengono sottoposte a interventi medici e chirurgici evitabili3, altri 8,9 milioni vengono inutilmente ospedalizzati4 e vengano prescritti 20 milioni di antibiotici non necessari per la cura di infezioni di origine virale2, 2a. Ma la statistica più sconcertante riguarda il numero dei decessi causati dalla medicina convenzionale, 783.936 all'anno, che fa del sistema sanitario americano la principale causa di morte negli Stati Uniti (basti sapere che il numero di decessi per malattie cardiache nel 2001 è stato di 699.697 e quello per tumore di 553.2515).
