I am an award-winning translator, interpreter, transcriber and editor. I am a bilingual Farsi and English and work with both languages comfortably. Farsi is my native language. I am also a highly skilled simultaneous and consecutive interpreter. I have excellent command of translation and interpretation tools, software and machine translation technologies. 

I have worked as translator and linguist,with the General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) since 2009. I have also worked with the best of both linguistics and media world in the past two decades. My experience includes working at some of the
most well-respected journalistic organizations in the world, including Voice of
America (VOA), US International Broadcasting (IBB), Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Reuters. My talents have earned
recognition and praise from public and private organizations across the globe.

I am currently based in California, USA and have dedicated my time and expertise and passion to the Orange County Department of Education. As a Community Interpreter and Bilingual Parent Advocate, I am assisting Farsi-speaking families to build a bridge with school and their children. 

I have Bachelor of Arts in English Translation and Literature and Master of Arts in Immigration and Settlement Studies from the best universities in Iran and in Canada.

I have earned "Certificate of Excellence in Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation and Translation". 

I am detailed oriented, and have specific attention to cultural sensitivities of both languages. I have access to unlimited high-speed internet connection. I have flexible work hours to meet tight deadlines and the clients' requests.
