1.0. OVERALL SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY
For XXXX, Safety, Health and Environmental Protection – both for its employees and for the Community where it develops its Projects – are priority objectives:
The Policy is based on the fact that:
Any potential adverse impact to the environmental and accident must be prevented by the elimination, reduction, mitigation or control of the risk.
The prevention of labor and environmental accidents is a social obligation of the XXXX staff, that is projected to subcontractors and suppliers involved in the execution of its Projects and Works.
The Management System implemented by XXXX prevents, detects, evaluates and controls labor risks and environmental impacts, and is based on the training and the commitment of each employee.
The culture of Safety, Health and Environmental Protection will be disseminated and extended to the Community where the Projects and Works are developed.
Compliance with internal rules, satisfaction of Costumer requirements and respect for the legislation in force related to Safety, Health and Environmental Protection will be communicated to all Project employees.
Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Policy (HSE Policy) states the commitment of XXXX organization to perform its activities in a safe and environmental friendly manner.
For ensuring that the HSE Policy is understood, applied and followed by XXXX ´s personnel and Subcontractors personnel, we manage to show it in different ways:
Intranet (www.XXXX.ot);
Workshops, and HSE meetings;
Training at all levels;
Pocket Handbook;
Bulletin Boards, etc.
The Policy is implemented by the Integrated Management System (IMS).
In order to ensure the fulfillment of this policy and the fulfillment of all Client’s and XXXX ´s requirements, XXXX will assign a competent safety representative and will submit the name and resume prior to mobilization.
XXXX ´s Subcontractors will also assign a competent safety representative.

1.0. POLÍTICA GENERAL DE SEGURIDAD, SALUD Y PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE
Para XXXX, la Salud, Seguridad y Protección del Medio Ambiente en relación a sus empleados y a la comunidad en la que el proyecto se desarrolla, son objetivos prioritarios:
Esta Política se basa en que:
La eliminación, reducción, mitigación o control de riesgos debe prevenir cualquier accidente o impacto negativo al medio ambiente.
La prevención de accidentes laborales y medioambientales es una obligación del personal de XXXX, y está proyectada a los subcontratistas y proveedores involucrados en la ejecución de los proyectos y obras de XXXX.
El Sistema de Gestión implementado por XXXX previene, detecta, evalúa y controla los riesgos laborales y los impactos medioambientales, y se basa en el entrenamiento y compromiso de cada empleado.
Se difundirá la cultura de Salud, Seguridad y Protección del Medio Ambiente entre el personal de XXXX, así como en la comunidad en la que se desarrollan los proyectos y obras.
Se comunicará a todo el personal del Proyecto el cumplimiento de las normas internas, la satisfacción de los requerimientos del cliente y el respeto por la legislación vigente en relación a la Salud, Seguridad y Protección del Medio Ambiente.
La Política de Salud, Seguridad y Protección del Medio Ambiente (Política de SSA) establece el compromiso de XXXX en la ejecución de sus actividades de manera segura y respetando el Medio Ambiente.
Con el fin de garantizar que el personal de XXXX y el personal de sus subcontratistas comprendan, apliquen y respeten la Política de SSA, establecemos los siguientes métodos para exhibirla:

Inducciones y reuniones de SSA.,
Entrenamiento a todo nivel;
Libro de bolsillo;
Tablón de anuncios, etc.
El Sistema Integrado de Gestión (SIG) se encarga de implementar la Política.
Con el fin de garantizar el cumplimiento de esta Política y de los requerimientos de XXXX y sus clientes, XXXX asignará un representante de seguridad competente dando a conocer su nombre y enviando su CV antes de su movilización.
Los subcontratistas de XXXX también asignarán un representante de seguridad competente.
