Source text - English 2 SITE SURVEY
The site survey is made to determine the location of each major component of the system.
All local factors that may present problems during the installation or operation of the system must be considered.
The topography of the area in which the arresting system is to be installed, the runway surface, the location of edge and threshold lights, the runway profile and the surface in the area of the system must be carefully examined to determine optimum installation location and possible installation alterations.
3 DIMENSIONAL DATA
See appendix 2 for dimensional data of foundation positions for the system. Dimensional deviations must be authorised by SCAMA AB Sweden.
4 FOUNDATION INSTALLATION
4.1 Equipment
The construction equipment and tools normally needed to install the retractable pendant system are as follows:
a) Backhoe - foundation excavation.
b) Crane 2000kg (4400lbs) capacity –for lifting equipment
c) Surveyors transit - installation layout.
d) Measuring tape 50 metres (150 ft.) minimum.
4.2 Site layout
Layout the area of installation in accordance with drawing 001502-1 and 001545. Layout dimensions, alignment and tolerances as shown to establish the location of the concrete foundations. Layout the site as follows:
a) Using drawing 001502-1 and the cable plan, see appendix 1, and following appropriate local electrical code requirements, layout the electrical cable system to determine required lengths for cables.
b) The centreline for the runway ducting should be accurately aligned along the tangent lines of the two runway edge sheaves i.e. the line described by the tape leaving the roller closest to the runway.
c) Excavate the foundation to the sizes and depths required.
d) When fitting the prefabricated manholes make sure they are connected to the runway drainage system or to other appropriate drainage system.
CAUTION
Ensure that there are no wooden braces, templates or debris of any kind in the complete foundation.
NOTE
Once foundations are poured and the retract boxes etc. are fixed, corrective alignment or positioning will not be possible. Correct positioning of retract boxes and ducting before pouring the foundations is critical.

Η αποτύπωση χώρου πραγματοποιείται για να προσδιοριστεί η τοποθεσία που θα εγκατασταθούν τα κύρια εξαρτήματα του συστήματος.
Πρέπει επίσης να ληφθούν υπόψη όλοι οι τοπικοί παράγοντες που ενδέχεται να δημιουργήσουν προβλήματα κατά την εγκατάσταση ή λειτουργία του συστήματος.

3 ΠΛΗΡΟΦΟΡΙΕΣ ΔΙΑΤΟΜΩΝ
Δείτε το Παράρτημα 2 για τις πληροφορίες διατομών των θεμελίων του συστήματος. Οποιαδήποτε απόκλιση στις διαστάσεις πρέπει να εγκριθεί από την SCAMA AB.
4 ΘΕΜΕΛΙΩΣΗ
4.1 Εξοπλισμός
Ο εξοπλισμός και τα εργαλεία που απαιτούνται για την εγκατάσταση του συστήματος βύθισης συρματοσχοίνου έχουν ως εξής:
α) Εκσκαφέας – εκσκαφή θεμελίων.
β) Γερανός ανυψωτικής ικανότητας 2000kg (4400lbs) – για την ανύψωση εξοπλισμού.
γ) Γεωδαιτικός σταθμός - αποτύπωση εγκατάστασης.
δ) Μετροταινία 50 μέτρων (150 ft.) τουλάχιστον.
4.2 Διαμόρφωση χώρου
Διαμορφώστε την περιοχή εγκατάστασης σύμφωνα με τα σχεδιαγράμματα 001502-1 και 001545. Χρησιμοποιήστε τις διαστάσεις, την ευθυγράμμιση και τις ανοχές που αναγράφονται σ’ αυτά για να προσδιορίσετε την τοποθεσία των θεμελίων, ως εξής:
α) Χρησιμοποιώντας το σχεδιάγραμμα 001502-1 και το σχεδιάγραμμα καλωδίων – δείτε το Παράρτημα 1 – και ακολουθώντας τους τοπικούς κανόνες για τις ηλεκτρικές εγκαταστάσεις, υπολογίστε τα απαιτούμενα μήκη των ηλεκτρικών καλωδίων.
β) Το κέντρο του άξονα του αγωγού στον διάδρομο προσγείωσης πρέπει να ευθυγραμμιστεί με ακρίβεια κατά μήκος των γραμμών που εφάπτονται στους κατευθυντήρες των δύο άκρων, δηλαδή στη γραμμή που περιγράφεται από τη θέση της ταινίας - αφού έχει αποχωριστεί από το ράουλο - στο πλησιέστερο προς τον διάδρομο σημείο.
γ) Εκσκαφή των θεμελίων στις απαιτούμενες διαστάσεις και βάθος.
δ) Κατά την τοποθέτηση των προκατασκευασμένων φρεατίων βεβαιωθείτε ότι αυτά θα συνδεθούν με το σύστημα αποστράγγισης του διαδρόμου προσγείωσης ή με άλλο κατάλληλο σύστημα αποστράγγισης.
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ
Βεβαιωθείτε ότι σε κανένα σημείο της θεμελίωσης δεν θα εγκιβωτιστούν
ξύλινα στηρίγματα, σανίδες καλουπώματος ή άλλα ξένα σώματα.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
Μετά τη σκυροδέτηση και την πάκτωση των κιβωτίων βύθισης κλπ., δεν θα είναι δυνατές διορθωτικές ενέργειες ευθυγράμμισής τους. Η σωστή τοποθέτηση των κιβωτίων βύθισης και των σωληνώσεων πριν από τη σκυροδέτηση είναι επιβεβλημένη.
