Bio
Passionate of languages, precise, methodical. French I started to learn very early, since my mother used to sing with me Edith Piaf at the age of 8 (my mum used to live in Paris). I attended a full year of high school in Belgium, in the French speaking part.
At 14 I discovered English and computers. At the university I stubbornly applied for the only Erasmus place available in Dublin, got it, and enjoyed 9 months of Eire: culture, music, green, windy air and Guinness.
Spanish I love, similar to Italian but nonetheless so tricky...unfortunately I haven't got the chance to learn it in the field…yet. Native speakers told me I’ve got potential, for not ever having been in Spain.
German is a challenge…I was the first of the class during high school, and deceived my teacher when I chose English and Spanish as subjects at the university. In 2009 I decided my German needed some review and stayed in Bonn for 6 months as a European Volunteer. Work in progress, as I’m reading books, newspapers and grammar stuff for fun (and not to lose it again).
