I started my career as an in-house translator working for Mercedes-Benz India for six years. I was entrusted with the task of translating documents exclusively for the office of the Executive Director. My eagerness and willingness to take on new initiatives and challenges gave me an opportunity to work with the development department of Mercedes-Benz Germany for one year. I feel that this experience helped me in my professional life. Being exposed to the German culture helped me understand it much better and also build a good base of the German language. This initial exposure excited me to find a field that allowed me to combine my linguistic skills and my organisational abilities. Consequently, I became a freelance translator full time.

I am a freelance translator with the ability for teamwork, achievement and results orientation.
I thrive best in an environment where I am given tasks to complete. This allows me to focus on the task until it is complete. When possible I prefer to work on a given task until I've gotten it done. For example, if I am given a month to do a task I will focus on doing that task until I'm done. I prefer to do it this way as opposed to waiting and pacing myself such that I take the entire month. Self-improvement is a cornerstone by which I live. I am always seeking to improve my knowledge and skills as well as expand them.

I am creative, result oriented, motivated by new challenges, methodical, resourceful. Able to work under pressure to take on responsibilities and challenges in meeting goals, I can speak English properly because my entire education has been in English UK.
