Source text - French La balle pénètre le crâne de John Fitzgerald Kennedy, provoquant une béance de treize centimètres de diamètre. Le projectile Winchester Mannlicher –Carcano, calibre 6,5, lacère la région pariétale du cerveau, émiette l’aire somato-motrice et explose en fracturant l’os et le frontal droit. De minuscules copeaux de métal s’éparpillent. Le lobe gauche disparaît purement et simplement. Des morceaux de tissu, des bouts d’os se dispersent, sous la pression colossale engendrée par la balle. Des lignes de fracture en étoile craquellent la boîte crânienne. Le sang jaillit en geyser et asperge tous les occupants de la limousine présidentielle. Le corps de JFK, devenu mou, rebondit contre le dossier de la banquette, et s’effondre sur l’épaule de Jackie Kennedy. Elle est assise à sa gauche, à quinze centimètres. Elle crie :
- Oh non ! non, non, non ! On a tiré sur mon mari !
Translation - Italian La pallottola penetra nel cranio di John Fitzgerald Kennedy, aprendo uno squarcio largo tredici centimetri. Il proiettile Winchester Mannlicher-Carcano calibro 6.5 lacera la regione parietale del cervello, sbriciola l’area somato-motrice ed esplode, fratturando l’osso e il frontale destro. Minuscole schegge di metallo si sparpagliano tutto intorno. Il lobo sinistro, semplicemente, sparisce. Lembi di pelle e schegge di ossa schizzano via, spinti dalla tremenda pressione della pallottola. Una ragnatela di fratture segna il cranio, serpeggiando via dal punto di impatto. Il sangue schizza ovunque, imbrattando gli occupanti della limousine presidenziale. Il corpo di JFK, divenuto molle, sbatte contro lo schienale del sedile e si affloscia sulla spalla di Jackie Kennedy. Lei è seduta alla sua sinistra, a quindici centimetri da lui. E grida:

1. Mi faranno sicuramente un miliardo di domande sulle volte che venivo picchiato da ragazzino, sulle cose che guardavo in tv, e su quella volta che ho rigato la macchina della professoressa di Geografia. O magari sui pesci rossi che ho lasciato morire di fame durante le ultime vacanze.
2. Dopodiché mi metteranno davanti agli occhi delle macchie che non somigliano a niente e aspetteranno che io gli dica a cosa somigliano.
3. Non vedo proprio cosa potrei dirgli.

2. Nemmeno a me stesso.
3. Mi hanno tolto i lacci e la cintura.

Octave n’aimait pas la mer.
« J’aime pas la mer. »
« C’est froid, c’est mouillé et ça sent mauvais. »
Et il ne se baignait jamais.
« Nan ! Jamais ! »
Il habitait une petite maison de pêcheur, tout seul avec sa maman.
« Ma maman à moi ! »

Sur son île qui s’appelait l’île d’Avel, c’était la dernière maison à l’Ouest.
« Oui, mais c’est la plus jolie ! »
Comme c’était les grandes vacances, il y avait plein de gens sur l’île.
« Pff ! des touristes ! »
Des gens qui allaient tous les jours à la plage et qui se baignaient.
« Mais pas moi !! »
« Octave ! à table !! »

« Bon, il va être l’heure d’aller au lit, jeune homme. »
« Déjà ? Non ! Je veux pas y aller ! J… »
« Octave… »
La maman d’Octave venait de faire sa tête de « c’est pas le moment de m’embêter »
Alors il monta dans sa chambre et attendit qu’elle vienne lui dire bonne nuit en jouant avec sa collection de monstres.

“Non mi piace il mare.”
“È freddo, è bagnato e puzza.”
E non faceva mai il bagno.

Abitava in una casetta di pescatori, da solo con la sua mamma.

Era la casa più a ovest di tutta l’isola di Avel.
“Ed è anche la più bella!”
Siccome era estate, sull’isola c’era un sacco di gente in vacanza.
“Tsk! Turisti!”
Un sacco di gente che andava tutti i giorni in spiaggia a farsi un bel bagno.
“Io no di certo!”
“Ottavio! A tavola!!”

“Bene, lupacchiotto, direi che è ora di andare a nanna.”
“Di già?! No! Non voglio! Io…”
“Ottavio…”
La mamma aveva fatto la sua faccia da “tu-non-vuoi-vedermi-arrabbiata“.
Allora Ottavio salì buono buono in camera sua e aspettò che venisse a dargli il bacio della buonanotte, giocando con i mostri della sua collezione.
