I work in English only (from German). And focus on the topics business, finance and economy. I write copy, translate, edit and proof-read copy.

Since 1986 I've:

* written 1 000's of financial articles for newspapers and magazines and won several awards for my work;

* published a book on historical buildings for the Paarl Tourist Bureau in South Africa;

* translated a training manual for the Small Business Development Corporation (now called Partners) in South Africa;

* researched and written an annual report for Transnet, the state-owned transport corporation in South Africa;

* proofread dozens of annual reports;

* translated (for several years) the quarterly investment letter of Investec Asset Management, an international asset management company;

* reported (between 1994 and 1996) on the writing of the new South African Constitution from parliament in Cape Town;

* written a daily investment newsletter (between 1998 and 2002) which was e-mailed to 68 000 South African investors;

* conceived, written and project-managed the development of several South African financial websites;

* conceived, written and developed several e-commerce solutions for financial products in South Africa;

* written several web-based advertising and promotion campaigns for South African advertisers of products and services;

* written several articles for the German federal government-funded agency Invest in Germany;

* translated a number of websites from German into English;

* acted as editor of the English website of a German company.
