Who am I?
Since 2009, I have been working as a freelancer on a limited basis, but now I'm working as a freelancer on a full-time basis. Therefore I have the possibility to take on larger assignments, as well as smaller, urgent translations. I am, of course, VAT-registered.


I hold a Master's degree in French and Communications/PR from Aalborg Universitet, Denmark, where I graduated in 2009. I have started a part time 2-year degree in Business Administration in spring 2011 in order for me to optimize my professional profile.


Personally I am a very structured and well-organized person - and these are features I also like to use in my work. I work very goal-orientated, but I always keep an eye on the details. Respecting deadlines is, of course, a must.


I take pride in providing accurate translations that are adapted to the Danish reader. It is important for me to provide the most accurate, precise translation as possible and I take pride in doing a profound research when translating texts. I therefore only rely on myself and my capabilities of researching - you should therefore not be worrying about a potential breach of confidentiality.


I do not do post-editing of MT-generated text - it is my belief that a perfect translation cannot be generated by a MT-engine and afterwards edited by a human. Translations are small pieces of art that demands perfect knowledge of the target language as well as the appropriate register used to generate the most accurate translation - a translation that doesn't seem like a translation, but flows as if it was written in the target language.

I like to have a very active spare time, where I for the moment enjoy running - I think it is very important to have an active lifestyle in order to do your best at work.
