Source text - English Kinetic Inhibitors - Do not thermodynamically lower the hydrate formation temperature. They prevent crystals from forming (i.e., they prevent nucleation) and thereby temporarily allow the fluids to be supercooled (cooled below the actual freezing point without crystallisation). Typically the best kinetic inhibitors will allow up to 10ºC of supercooling.
Emulsion Additives (Slurry Additives or Anti-Agglomerates) - Do not thermodynamically lower the hydrate formation temperature but attempt to prevent agglomeration of hydrate crystals and thereby enable transport of hydrates. By forming an emulsion they limit the droplet size available for hydrate formation.
Crystal Growth Inhibitors - Operate at the crystal surface to limit the hydrate crystal size. This is in contrast to emulsion additives which attempt to limit crystal size by entraining water in the liquid organic phase. The growth inhibitors may ultimately result in a mass of small hydrate crystals dispersed in the dense hydrocarbon phase.

Al formar una emulsión limitan el tamaño de las gotitas que son las que permiten la formación de hidratos.
Inhibidores del crecimiento de cristales - Operan sobre la superficie de cristales para limitar el tamaño de los cristales de hidrato. Esto en contraste con los aditivos en emulsión, los cuales de tratan de limitar el tamaño del cristal al transportar el agua en la fase orgánica líquida. Estos inhibidores pueden convertirse en una masa de pequeños cristales de hidratos dispersos en la densa fase de hidrocarburos.

Hello! Welcome to my profile. I am here to help you with your translation. I have a Master's degree on Translation English to Spanish from Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica; and a Bachelor´s degree on English from Universidad de Costa Rica, both prestigious state universities.
Over the last years I have combined my job as plant translator with freelance projects, for example:

Currently, I am working for Volcanocorp as one of their plant translators, and occasionally as freelance translator. I am a member of ACOTIP (Costa Rican Association for Professional Translators and Interpreters) since 2005, and currently I am serving as a Board member and its Treasurer for the period 2013-2015. I also served during the 2009-2011 period.
In addition, I am part of the BAFA Board of Directors, an online magazine to support artists and have provided pro bono translation services for its webpage.
