Source text - Bengali DOE Policy on Granting Accelerated Credit in High School
High school courses begin in Grade 9 and continue through Grade 12. Credits earned for these courses become part of a student’s high school transcript. Under certain conditions, courses taken previous to Grade 9, namely in middle school, Grade 7 or Grade 8, may be accepted for high school credit and eventually added to the student’s high school transcript. These are called accelerated courses.
The regulations of the New York State Education Department determine the conditions for accelerated course credit. These regulations govern the conditions under which high schools accept course work completed before Grade 9 as accelerated high school credit. These conditions are as follows:
1. If the middle school student attends classes in a high school with high school students and passes the course on the same basis as the high school students, high schools will award high school credit.
2. If the middle school student passes the course and the associated State proficiency examination or Regents examination, high schools will award high school course credit and Regents examination credit.
3. In cases where no State proficiency examination or other appropriate assessment is available, no high school credit will be given by high schools unless there is a curriculum and examination approved by the Department of Education for high school credit.
4. Given these guidelines, high schools are currently only awarding high school accelerated credit in courses involving the following subject areas:
- Science courses (Earth Science/Living Environment) ending in Regents examinations
- Math courses (Algebra/Geometry) ending in Regents examinations
- Spanish course ending with the proficiency examination
NO CREDIT is being awarded for Grade 8 (Accelerated) English or Grade 8 (Accelerated) Global History courses because they do not meet the requirements indicated above.

Notice of Right to Cancel
This Notice of Right to Cancel the contract is issued by Irwin Mitchell LLP in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3134).

You have the right to cancel this contract if you wish by delivering or sending (including by electronic mail) notice of cancellation at any time within the cancellation period to the Compliance Officer, Irwin Mitchell LLP, Imperial House, 31 Temple Street, Birmingham, B2 5DB. The e-mail address is [email protected]. The cancellation period ends at the end of 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into. The Notice of Cancellation is deemed to be served at the time you post or send the notice or on the day you send it electronically to Irwin Mitchell LLP.
You may use the cancellation notice form provided below if you wish. The use of this cancellation notice to cancel the contract between us is not obligatory. You may also provide us with a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to cancel.
If, at your request and with your agreement, we begin work on your claim before the end of the 14 day cancellation period, you will not lose your right to cancel. If you wish us to commence work on your behalf before the 14 day period has expired, you must request this in writing, by fax or email to the relevant person dealing with your claim. If you ask that performance of the contract starts before the end of the 14 day cancellation period, however, you may be required to pay for the work we do and any disbursements made or incurred in this period and before the cancellation of your instructions. Subject to our right to payment where you have asked us to begin work on your claim matter before the end of the 14 day cancellation period, if you do cancel this contract we will reimburse to you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any charges as a result of the reimbursement.

What this Agreement Covers
This agreement covers all work that we and/or our servants or agents (a) have already done from the date when you first instructed us up to now and (b) shall do from now onwards in relation to:
• Your claim for damages for clinical negligence arising from a delay in diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
• Any appeal by your opponent against a judgment, court order, or award made in your claim.
• Any appeal you make on our advice against a judgment, court order, or award made at an interim hearing.
• Any proceedings you take to enforce a judgment, court order, award or agreement made in your claim or at an interim hearing.
• Any costs only proceedings or proceedings for the assessment of legal costs payable in respect of your claim or an interim hearing either by your opponent or by you.
What this Agreement Does Not Cover
This agreement does not cover any work done by us or our servants or agents in connection with:
• Any counterclaim against you.
• Any work carried out prior to the date of this agreement which is covered under any other funding arrangement.
• Any appeal which you make against a judgment, court order or award against you unless we agree in writing that it shall do so.
Explanation of this Agreement
Before you entered into this agreement, we explained to you orally or in writing the effect of this agreement and in particular the following:
• Whether any other methods of financing your claim or indemnifying you for financial risks are available to you.
• That we consider that this agreement is appropriate to enable you to finance the legal costs of your claim.
• The circumstances in which you will be liable to pay our basic charges, the success fee, disbursements, ATE premium and VAT.
• How the success fee has been calculated.
• The reasons for setting the success fee at the level agreed, including (if relevant), having regard to whether your claim is one of several similar claims.
• The circumstances in which you may seek assessment of our basic charges, the success fee, disbursements, ATE premium and VAT and the procedure for so doing.
• That the Allianz LitigATE after the event insurance policy (“your LitigATE policy”) is appropriate for you and your claim.

Conditions
1. Our Responsibilities
• We will always act in your best interests, subject to our duty to the court.
• We will explain to you the risks and benefits of taking legal action.
• We will give you our best advice about whether to accept any offer of settlement.
• We will give you the best information possible about the likely costs of your claim.
2. Your Responsibilities
You are required to:
• Co-operate with us and give us instructions that allow us to do our work properly.
• Attend any appointment for medical examination by any expert appointed by us, your opponent or by the court when we request you to do so.
• Attend any court hearing when we ask you to do so.
You Must Not:
• Ask us to work in an improper or unreasonable way;
• Deliberately attempt to mislead us, your after the event insurers, your opponent, their insurers or the court.
Please note that if you should fail to honour any of your responsibilities as described above we would be entitled to terminate this agreement (please see Condition 15 which explains the consequences).
3. Explanation of Words Used in this Agreement
Wherever the following words or phrases appear in this document they have a special meaning for the purposes of this agreement, as detailed below.
Advocacy
Appearing for you at court hearings.
ATE Premium
The total premium paid for your LitigATE insurance policy which is payable if you win.
Basic Charges
Our charges for the legal work done on your claim by us or our servants or agents and interest thereon. Please see Condition 4 for further details.
Claim
Your demand for damages for personal injury and any financial losses regardless of whether or not court proceedings are issued.
Counterclaim
A claim that your opponent makes against you in response to your claim.
Damages
Money that you win whether by a judgment, court order, award or agreement.
Disbursements
Payments we make on your behalf such as court fees, experts' fees, barristers’ fees, accident report fees, and travelling expenses.
Full Legal Charges
The total of our basic charges, the success fee, the disbursements, the ATE premium, VAT and interest on costs.
Interest on Costs
The sum awarded by the court or agreed with your opponent that should be charged at statutory rates of interest (or at any lower rate agreed with your opponent) upon legal costs, normally from the date when judgment is entered in your favour or otherwise such date as is agreed with your opponent or determined by the court, until the date when payment is actually made: such interest shall form part of our basic charges.
Interim Award of Costs
An award of legal costs in your favour made by the court or by agreement with your opponent, before your claim concludes, usually when the liability issues in relation to your claim are resolved in your favour or upon settlement of your claim prior to any action taken to recover any legal costs.
Interim Damages
Money that a court says your opponent must pay you or which your opponent agrees to pay you while you are waiting for a settlement or for the court's final decision.
Interim Hearing
A court hearing which is not a final hearing and where some or all of liability and quantum issues remain to be determined.
Lien
Our legal right to keep all papers, documents, money or other property held on your behalf until all money due to us is paid. A lien may be applied after this agreement ends. Please see Condition 16 for further details.
Lose
The court has dismissed your claim or you have stopped it on our advice.
Opponent
The party or parties against whom you make your claim.
Opponent’s Legal Costs
The legal fees, and expenses (plus VAT where appropriate) incurred by your opponent, or if more than one, your opponents, in defending your claim.
Part 36 Offer
An offer to settle your claim made strictly in accordance with the rules of the court and which has certain consequences for both the recovery of your legal costs from your opponent and your liability for your opponent’s legal costs.
Recovered Costs
The total amount of the basic charges, the disbursements, the ATE premium, VAT and interest on costs which your opponent pays you if you win your claim or if you obtain an interim award of costs. Please note that only part of the ATE premium will be recoverable from your opponent.
Relevant Period
(In the context of a Part 36 Offer):
The period specified in the Part 36 Offer (normally 21 days) within which you can accept the offer, and then automatically be entitled to force your opponent to pay your legal costs.
Success Fee
The additional percentage of basic charges that we are entitled to charge you if you win your claim. The success fee is payable out of the damages you recover. Please see Condition 6 for further details.
Trial
The final contested court hearing or a contested court hearing of any issue which is ordered to be tried separately by the court (whichever is the earlier).
Win
• In the context of your claim this means you become finally entitled (whether by judgment, court order, award, agreement or otherwise) to be paid damages by your opponent.
• In the context of an interim hearing this means you become finally entitled (whether by judgment, court order, award, agreement with your opponent or otherwise) to be paid all or part of your legal costs of that interim hearing.
• Whichever definition applies, the words “finally entitled” means that your opponent against whom you are successful is not allowed to appeal, has not appealed in time, or has lost an appeal.
VAT
Value Added Tax which we add at the rate that applies when the work is done (currently 20.0%), to the total of the basic charges and success fee. VAT is also added to barristers’ fees and to some other disbursements.
4. How We Calculate Our Basic Charges
• Our basic charges are for the work done on your claim by us or our servants or agents.
• Our basic charges are calculated using the hourly rates specified in Condition 5 below multiplied by the time spent on your claim.
• Routine letters and telephone calls are charged as units of one tenth of an hour. Other letters and telephone calls will be charged on a time spent basis.
5. The Hourly Rates used to calculate our Basic Legal Charges
The hourly rates which currently apply to your claim are:
Grade 1 - Partners, associate directors, solicitors and legal executives with over 8 years post qualification experience and other fee earners of equivalent experience: £290 per hour.
Grade 2 - Solicitors and legal executives with over 4 years post qualification experience and other fee earners of equivalent experience: £255 per hour.
Grade 3 - Other solicitors, legal executives and other fee-earners of equivalent experience: £220 per hour.
Grade 4 - Trainee solicitors, litigation assistants and other fee-earners of equivalent experience: £140 per hour.
The above hourly rates will apply to your claim until the review date on 1 May each year when we will notify you of any increase in our hourly rates. In the absence of any notification all of our hourly rates will automatically increase by a percentage equivalent to the increase in the RPI over the previous 12 months ending on 1 May. If a different percentage increase is to apply we will advise you in writing as soon as possible after the review date.
6. The Success Fee
• The success fee is an additional percentage of our basic charges that we are entitled to charge you if you win your claim.
• The success fee is payable out of the damages you recover and cannot be recovered from your opponent.
• The amount of the success fee depends on when you win your claim.
The success fee will be:
(1) If you win your claim at any point in time more than 3 months before the date fixed for the commencement of a trial, 80% of the basic charges.
(2) If you win your claim at any point in time less than 3 months before the date fixed for the commencement of a trial, 100% of the basic charges.
• Whichever percentage applies the maximum success fee payable by you (inclusive of any applicable VAT) shall be limited to an amount equal to 25% of the damages you recover for pain, suffering, loss of amenity and past financial loss you have suffered (i.e. excluding any future financial losses), after deducting any sums recoverable by the Compensation Recovery Unit.
• The reasons for setting the success fee at the percentages shown above are set out in Schedule 1.
• If you are entering into this agreement in your capacity as a personal representative of the estate of a deceased person who has previously been pursuing a claim on a conditional fee agreement with us (“CFA1”), and you are now bringing a claim on behalf of that estate and/or claim(s) for the dependents of the deceased person, you hereby agree that: in return for us agreeing to enter into this agreement with you, you will pay our full legal charges (including our success fee) which apply to all of the work we have done covered by CFA1, provided that you win your claim on behalf of the estate. If CFA1 was signed on or before 31 March 2013 we shall accept the total costs recovered from the opponent under CFA1 in settlement of our full legal charges under CFA1.
7. Disbursements
• You agree that unless you instruct us to the contrary we have your authority to incur and pay all disbursements which we consider reasonable and necessary in order to pursue your claim.
• The disbursements will include the fees of any barrister instructed by us on your behalf, which will normally be on terms agreed between us and the barrister’s chambers; if otherwise we shall advise you.
• If you win your claim any disbursements which you are unable to recover from your opponent will be covered under your LitigATE insurance policy.
• If you lose your claim the disbursements will all be covered under your LitigATE insurance policy (see Condition 12).

আমাদের বা আমাদের সেবক বা এজেন্ট কর্তৃক করা নিচের কাজগুলো এই চুক্তির আওতাভুক্ত নয়:
• আপনার দাবী করা কোন পাল্টা দাবী।
• এই চুক্তি করার দিনের আগে কোন কাজ যেটা অন্য কোন আর্থিক ব্যবস্থাপনার আওতাভুক্ত।
• আমরা লিখিতভাবে করার জন্য সম্মত না হয়ে থাকলে কোন রায়, আদালতের আদেশ বা পুরস্কারের বিরুদ্ধে আপনার করা কোন আপীল।
এই চুক্তির ব্যাখ্যা
আপনি এই চুক্তিতে প্রবেশ করার আগে, আমরা এই চুক্তির প্রভাবের ব্যাপারে নির্দিষ্ট করে নিম্নে লিখিত বিষয়গুলো আপনার নিকট মৌখিক অথবা লিখিতভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করেছি:
• আপনার দাবী অনুযায়ী অর্থ ফেরত দেয়ার অন্য কোন উপায় অথবা আর্থিক ঝুকির কারনে আপনাকে ক্ষতিপূরণ দেয়ার অন্য কোন পদ্ধতি আপনার জন্য আছে কিনা।
• আমরা বিবেচনা করি যে আপনার দাবীর আইনী ব্যয় মেটাতে আপনাকে সক্ষম করার জন্য এই চুক্তি যথাযথ।
• যেই পরিস্থিতিতে আপনি মৌলিক চার্জ, সাকসেস ফি, অর্থ ফেরত প্রদান, এটিই প্রিমিয়াম ও ভ্যাট দিতে বাধ্য থাকবেন।
• সাকসেস ফি কিভাবে হিসাব করা হয়েছে।

2. আপনার দায়িত্ব
আপনাকে যা করতে হবে:
• আমাদের সঙ্গে সহযোগিতা করতে হবে এবং আমরা যাতে আমাদের কাজ যথাযথভাবে করতে পারি সেজন্য পরামর্শ দিতে হবে।
• আমাদের, আপনার প্রতিপক্ষ অথবা আদালতের নিযুক্ত কোন চিকিৎসক দ্বারা ডাক্তারি পরীক্ষার জন্য কোন অ্যাপয়েন্টমেন্টে যোগ দেয়ার জন্য আমরা অনুরোধ জানালে আপনাকে সেখানে যোগ দিতে হবে।
• আমরা আপনাকে অনুরোধ করলে আদালতের শুনানিতে অংশ নিতে হবে।
আপনি যা অবশ্যই করবেন না:
• অযথাযথ অথবা অযৌক্তিক পদ্ধতিতে কাজ করার জন্য আমাদের অনুরোধ জানানো;

3. এই চুক্তিতে ব্যবহৃত শব্দের ব্যাখ্যা

আডভোকেসি
আদালতের শুনানির সময় আপনার জন্য উপস্থিত হওয়া।

আপনি জয়লাভ করলে আপনার লিটিগেট বীমার জন্য আপনাকে বীমা প্রতিষ্ঠান সর্বমোট যে পরিমান অর্থের প্রিমিয়াম প্রদান করবে।
ব্যাসিক চার্জ

ক্লেইম

ডিজবার্সমেন্ট
আদালতের ফি, বিশেষজ্ঞের ফি, ব্যারিস্টারের ফি, দুর্ঘটনা রিপোর্টের ফি এবং ভ্রমন ব্যায়ের মত যেসকল ব্যয় আমরা আপনার পক্ষে প্রদান করে থাকি।
ফুল লিগ্যাল চার্জ
আমাদের মূল চার্জ, সাকসেস ফি, ডিজবার্সমেন্ট, এটিই প্রিমিয়াম, ভ্যাট এবং খরচের উপরের সুদের যোগফল।
ইন্টারেস্ট অন কস্ট

লিয়েন
আমাদের প্রাপ্য সমুদয় অর্থ পাওয়ার পূর্ব পর্যন্ত আপনার পক্ষে সকল কাগজ, দলিল, অর্থ ও অন্যান্য সম্পত্তি ধরে রাখার জন্য আমাদের আইনী অধিকার। এই চুক্তি শেষ হওয়ার পর লিয়েন প্রযোজ্য হতে পারে। আরও বিস্তারিতের জন্য অনুগ্রহ করে শর্ত 16 দেখুন।
হারা
আদালত আপনার দাবী খারিজ করে দিয়েছে অথবা আমাদের পরামর্শে আপনি এটা থামিয়ে দিয়েছেন।

যেই পার্টি বা পার্টিগুলোর বিরুদ্ধে আপনার দাবী করেছেন।
প্রতিপক্ষের আইনী ব্যয়
আপনার দাবীর পক্ষে মামলার আইনী ফি ও খরচ (এর সাথে ভ্যাট যেখানে প্রযোজ্য) যেটা আপনার প্রতিপক্ষ দিবেন, অথবা প্রতিপক্ষ একাধিক হলে আপনার প্রতিপক্ষরা দিবেন।
পার্ট 36 অফার

আদায়কৃত খরচ
মূল চার্জ, ডিসবার্সমেন্ট, এটিই প্রিমিয়াম, ভ্যাট এবং খরচের উপর সুদ এর মোট অর্থ যেটা আপনার দাবী জিতলে বা খরচের জন্য একটি অন্তর্বর্তি আদশ পেলে আপনার প্রতিপক্ষ আপনাকে প্রদান করেন। অনুগ্রহ করে নোট রাখবেন যে, আপনার প্রতিপক্ষ থেকে শুধু এটিই প্রিমিয়ামের অংশ আদায়যোগ্য।
প্রাসঙ্গিক কাল

আদালতের যুক্তি তর্কসহ চূড়ান্ত শুনানি অথবা যেকোন বিষয়ে তর্ক বিতর্কসহকারে আদালতের শুনানী যেটা আলাদাভাবে বিচার কাজ করার জন্য আদালত কর্তৃক নির্দেশ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। (যেটাই আগে আসুক)।
বিজয়
• আপনার দাবীর প্রেক্ষাপটে এটা দ্বারা বুঝায় যে আপনি চূড়ান্তভাবে পাওয়ার যোগ্য বিবেচিত হয়েছেন (এটা রায়, আদালতের আদেশ, পুরস্কার, চুক্তি বা অন্য কোন উপায়ে হতে পারে) এই ক্ষতিপূরণ আপনাকে আপনার প্রতিপক্ষের প্রদান করতে হবে।

VAT

4. আমরা কিভাবে আমাদের মূল চার্জ হিসাব করি
• আপনার দাবীর ব্যাপারে আমরা বা আমাদের সেবকগণ বা এজেন্ট যে কাজ করে থাকে তার জন্য মূল চার্জ দিতে হয়।
• নিচের শর্ত 5 এ দেয়া সুনির্দিষ্ট ঘন্টাপ্রতি চার্জের আপনার দাবীর জন্য ব্যয় করা সময় গুণ করে আমাদের মূল চার্জ হিসাব করা হয়।
• রুটিন চিঠি ও টেলিফোন কলকে এক ঘন্টার দশভাগের এক ভাগ সমপরিমাণ ইউনিট হিসেবে চার্জ করা হয়। অন্যান্য পত্র ও টেলিফোন কলের জন্য ব্যয় করা সময়ের ভিত্তিতে চার্জ করা হয়।
5. আমাদের মূল আইনী চার্জ নির্ধারন করতে ব্যবহৃত ঘন্টাওয়ারী হার
বর্তমানে আপনার দাবীর ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য ঘন্টাওয়ারী হার হছে:
গ্রেড 1 – অংশীদার, সহযোগী পরিচালক, আইনজীবী ও আইনী নির্বাহী যাদের 8 বছরের বেশী চাকুরীর অভিজ্ঞতা রয়েছে এবং একই রকম অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন অপর ফি আয়কারীদের ক্ষেত্রে: প্রতি ঘন্টায় £290।
গ্রেড 2 - 4 বছরের বেশী অভিজ্ঞতাসম্পন্ন আইনজীবী ও আইনী নির্বাহী এবং একই অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন অপর ফি আয়কারীর ক্ষেত্রে: প্রতি ঘন্টায় £255।
গ্রেড 3 – অন্যান্য উকিল, আইনী নির্বাহী ও একই অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন অপর ফি-আয়কারীগণ: প্রতি ঘন্টায় £220।
Grade 4 – শিক্ষানবীশ উকিল, আইন সহকারী এবং একই অভিজ্ঞতা সম্পন্ন অপর ফি-আয়কারীগণের ক্ষেত্রে: প্রতি ঘন্টায় £140।
প্রতি বছর 1 মে এর আগ পর্যন্ত আপনার দাবীর ক্ষেত্রে উপরে উল্লেখিত হার প্রযোজ্য হবে, আমাদের ঘন্টাপ্রতি হার বৃদ্ধি হলে আমরা সে সময় আপনাকে জানাবো। বৃদ্ধির নোটিফিকেশনের অনুপস্থিতির ক্ষেত্রে আমাদের সকল ঘন্টাপ্রতি হার স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে 1 তারিখে পূর্ববর্তি 12 মাসের আরপিআই বৃদ্ধির হার অনুযায়ী বৃদ্ধি পাবে। যদি ভিন্ন বৃদ্ধির হার আপনার উপর প্রযোজ্য হয়, পর্যালোচনা তারিখের পর যত শীঘ্রই সম্ভব আমরা আপনাকে লিখিতভাবে জানাবো।
6. সাকসেস ফি
• সাকসেস ফি হচ্ছে আমাদের মূল চার্জের অতিরিক্ত হার যা আপনি আপনার দাবী জয়লাভ করলে আমরা আপনার নিকট থেকে পাওয়ার যোগ্য হবো।
• আপনার ক্ষতিপূরণের অর্থের বাইরে এই সাকসেস ফি আপনাকে দিতে হবে এবং সাকসেস ফি আপনার প্রতিপক্ষের নিকট থেকে নেওয়া যাবে না।
• আপনি আপনার দাবী জয়লাভ করার সময়ের উপর সাকসেস ফি নির্ভর করে।.
সাকসেস ফি হবে:
(1) বিচার কাজ শুরু হওয়ার জন্য নির্ধারিত তারিখের 3 মাস পূর্বে যে কোন সময় আপনি আপনার দাবী জিতে নিলে, মূল চার্জের 80%।
(2) বিচার কাজ শুরু হওয়ার জন্য নির্ধারিত তারিখের 3 মাসের কম সময়ে যে কোন মুহুর্তে আপনি আপনার দাবী জিতে নিলে, মূল চার্জের 100%।
• যেই হারই প্রযোজ্য হউক, আপনার দেওয়া সর্বোচ্চ সাকসেস ফি (কোন ভ্যাট প্রযোজ্য থাকলে তা এর ভেতরে থাকবে) কোন ব্যথা, কষ্ট, কাংখিত সুবিধা হারানো ও অতীতের আর্থিক ক্ষতির কারণে আপনি যে ক্ষতিপূরণ পেয়ে থাকেন সেটা থেকে কম্পেনসেশন রিকভারেবল ইউনিট কর্তৃক উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব অর্থের পরিমান বাদ দেয়ার পর 25% প্রাপ্য হবে।
• সাকসেস ফির হার নির্ধারনের কারন উপরে শিডিউল 1 এ দেখানো হয়েছে।
• আপনি যদি মৃত ব্যক্তির সম্পত্তির ব্যক্তিগত প্রতিনিধির ক্ষমতায় এই চুক্তিতে প্রবেশ করেন, যিনি ইতিপূর্বে আমাদের সঙ্গে শর্তমূলক ফি সাপেক্ষে তার দাবীর ব্যাপারে কাজ করছিলেন, (“CFA1”), এবং আপনি এখন সেই সম্পত্তির এবং/অথবা মৃত ব্যক্তির নির্ভরশীলদের পক্ষে দাবীটি সামনে এনে থাকলে, আপনি এখানে রাজী আছেন যে, আপনি আমাদের সম্পূর্ন আইনী চার্জ (সাকসেস ফি সহ) প্রদান করবেন, CFA1 আওতাভুক্ত আমাদের করা সকল কাজের জন্য এটি প্রযোজ্য হবে, শর্ত থাকে যে, আপনি সম্পত্তির পক্ষে দাবী জয়লাভ করেছেন। CFA1 31 মার্চ 2013 তারিখে বা এর পূর্বে স্বাক্ষরিত হয়ে থাকলে, আমরা CFA1 এর অধীন আমাদের সম্পূর্ন চার্জ ঠিক করার ক্ষেত্রে আমরা প্রতিপক্ষ থেকে CFA1 এর অধীন নেয়া সম্পূর্ন খরচ গ্রহন করবো।

• আপনার পক্ষ থেকে কোন ব্যারিস্টারের কথা বলা হলে তার ফি এই ডিজবার্সমেন্টের আওতায় থাকবে, যা সাধারনত আমাদের ও ব্যারিস্টারের চ্যাম্বারের সাথে করা চুক্তি অনুযায়ী দেয়া হবে, অন্যথায় হলে আমরা আপনাকে পরামর্শ দিবো।
• আপনি দাবী জয়লাভ করলে আপনার প্রতিপক্ষ থেকে কোন ডিজবার্সমেন্ট আদায় করতে আপনি অক্ষম হলে সেটা লিটিগেট বীমা পলিসির মাধ্যমে আদায় করা হবে।

Dear Ms Begum,
I am writing to you to provide you with an update as to how Kareem is doing in his foster placement. Kareem continues to make great progress in his placement. Kareem has now grown four teeth and has started to try more new foods like lentil soup and mashed rice. Kareem was unwell with a sickness bug in the middle of October 2015 however he is better now.
Kareem is now very active and doesn’t like to sit still! He is crawling around the house confidently and liked to jump up and down in his walker. Kareem is now able to pull himself up to standing alone and can take a couple of steps with support. Kareem is very noisy and chatty and likes to be engaging with adults or other children who are around him.
Kareem enjoys watching baby TV and likes listening to ‘the teddy bear song’. Kareem also likes it when his carers sing along to songs and this makes him giggle. Before Kareem goes to sleep he seems to enjoy his foster carer reading him a picture book, and he then settles well.
Kareem celebrated his first birthday last week and was very lucky to receive lots of toys as gifts. Kareem’s foster carer made him a birthday cake which Kareem made a lot of mess with! Kareem’s carers describe him as a ‘happy and smiley little boy’.
Kareem had his health assessment on 5th October 2015 and I have copied the main points below to prevent you having two separate documents to read and ensure correct translation:
- Foster carer has no concerns regarding Kareem’s health and there are no developmental concerns
- Kareem has been referred to a Hospital in London regarding his undescended testicle.
- Kareem is seen monthly by the Health Visitor for a height and weight check
- Kareem’s immunisations are up to date and he is due some further immunisations at his next appointment.
- Kareem can hold items like the TV remote but doesn’t hold his bottle; however this seems to be through choice as opposed to being unable!
- Kareem has a good attachment to his foster carer and was laughing and sociable during the assessment. Kareem looks to his carer for reassurance and is clearly valued within his foster placement.
- Kareem is making noises, recognises sounds and makes good eye contact
You will note that Kareem has been referred to a Hospital in London regarding his undescended testicle; his Health Visitor is due to attend his upcoming Child Looked After Review on 26th November 2015 and will be providing an update regarding this at the meeting.

করিম এখন বাক্কা চঞ্চল এবং এক জাগাত বইয়া থাকতা বালা পাইন না। তাই আত্ম-বিশ্বাসের সাথে বাড়ির চারিদিকো হামাগুড়ি দিরায় এবং তাইর ওয়াকারো উইঠা লাফাইয়া উফরে উঠতা ও নিচো নামতা পছন্দ করের। করিম এখন একলা একলা দাড়াইতা পারুইন এবং কুনতার সাহায্য লইয়া কয়েক পাও আগাইতা পারুইন। করিম বাক্কা শব্দ করের ও মাতুইন এবং তাইর লগে থাকা বড়তা বা ছোটতার লগে মাতুইন।
করিম বেবি টিভি দেখতা পছন্দ করে এবং ‘টেডি বিয়ার সং’ দেখতা বালা পাইন। তাইর কেয়ারার এইটার লগে নিজো গান গাইলে করিমোর বালা লাগের এবং তাই মুখ টিপিয়া হাসের। করিম ঘুমাইতা যাইবার আগে তাইর ফোস্টার কেয়ারার তাইরে ছবির বই পড়িয়া শুনাইলে তাইর বালা লাগে এবং এরপরে তাই ঠান্ডা অইন।
গত সপ্তাত করিম তাইর পয়লা জন্ম দিন পালন করছে এবং তাই উপহার হিসাবে বাক্কা অনেখটি খেলনা পাইছুইন। করিমের ফোস্টার কেয়ারার তাইর লাগি এখটা জন্মদিনোর কেইক বানাইছুইন এবং করিম ঔটা মাখাইয়া ফেলছিলা! করিমোর ফোস্টার কেয়ারার তাইরে এখটা ‘সুখী ও হাসিখুশী পোয়া’ বলিয়া বর্ননা করছুইন।

- স্বাস্থ্য পরিদর্শক মাসে এখবার করিমের উচ্চতা ও ওজন মাফিয়া যাইন

I do work in a news media where I need to work with translation from Enlish to Bengali as well as from Bengali to English. My work also include editing international news and translating them into Bengali. For the enlish news of the media I have to translate different news from Bengali to English which covers the area of politics, finance and economy, development, agriculture, science and technology, sports or any sudden incident taking place in the country.
My native languge is Bengali. I have some experience of translation. I have translated a number of english thrillers like Hardy Boys in bengali and given them different shapes as instructed by my publisher.
I also translated some bengali writings into english. Among them " Amader bhasa Andolon" by Amal Saha is notable.
