Based in the Canadian prairies, I translate from German and Latin into English, specializing in college and university diplomas, Catholic Church documents and Church related documents, genealogy, theology, history, religious studies, and even rather esoteric subjects like magic, alchemy, and so forth, having published translations with Rubedo Press and Trident Books among others.
I have a broad liberal arts background, a B.A. in Classics, a Master of Theological Studies, and an MLIS, as well as training in medical transcription.
Notable recent projects include German medical/health care documentation; translation of a German theological monograph for Peter Lang press; journal articles and promotional materials from German; numerous translations of Medieval and Renaissance Latin texts; and (along with a team of other translators) the _Commentarius Rinuccinianus_ for the University of Ulster:
