English to Spanish: Una presentación personal
Source text - English First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Camilo Dávila, but I go by Cam. I was born in the state of Wyoming, USA, in 1937, but raised (bilingual Spanish-English) and educated in the state of Washington. I also lived in Italy for 3 years while in the U.S. Army. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1966 with a B.A. in Sociology, and did sociological research as a graduate student in Venezuela and Colombia. I was a missionary in Peru for 2 1/2 years and taught in the Spanish language. Later, I also received a B.A. degree in Spanish and taught high school Spanish teacher (levels 1-4), including Spanish for Spanish-speakers. I retired 4 years ago, but I still continue to work 12 hours a week, teaching adult English-as-a-Second Language and GED in Spanish.
