I have over 20 years experience in the IT environment. Ten of those years I worked as a Technical Writer/Desktop Publisher. With a small crew of 3 writers (including myself as manager) we authored the Corporate Procedure Manual for the 3rd maritime shipping company in the US/Puerto Rico trade lanes. Most of my work has been done in English. My first language is Puerto Rican Spanish.
In May 2004 I started a new job as a Technical Writer. My main responsibility is to translate technical product manuals into Spanish. My employer manufactures Parking Systems, Time Clocks, and Access Control Systems. I translate all the manuals for the major products that are being introduced to Latin American markets.
My translation tool at the moment is @Prompt |
