Is it correct to post a question, answer it and then award points to yourself???(Mod:'done')

This person had received answers from other translators participating on this site after which he gave a modified version of the answer and awarded himself with 4 KudoZ for it. Is this practice allowed? If it is, it definitely invites people to provide themselves with high marks and therefore, all the efforts we\'ve been doing, are just a waste of time.

But you may be overreacting.



As far as I know, it is not possible to answer your own questions unless you do it under a different profile. If you believe this is indeed the case, I would suggest writing an e-mail to the moderator for that particular language pair.

to do that. The grades, or Kudoz points are designed to reward those who have helped with the translation. If the person awarded the points to himself, not only is he not respectful, but very childish.
