I'm translating HTML document. Let's say that's the source segment: Szymon Sabat I've set the empty translation for it. Validate Tags tool is asking me to add the tags back, but I've thought that the empty translation means "same as source" and not "empty string". Was I wrong?

If you want a translation "same as source", say so (Edit > Register Identical Translation). An empty translation is exactly what it means: the source text (including tags) is replaced with "nothing". For HTML documents, you can select which parts you want to translate or not (e.g., URLs). Options > File Filters > HTML and XHTML (or XHTML, depending on the filter used) > Options > then select which parts to translate or not. Didier
