OmegaT 3.5.2b1 problem with GIT Thread poster: nivaca

I'm testing OmegaT 3.5.2b1 in Mac OS X and in Linux. I couldn't find the OmegaT.sh file in this version, in order to instruct OmegaT *not* to use team support (so I can use Git in the projects). How can I tell this version not to use team support? Thanks! NV

Under Mac OS X, there's no more an OmegaT.sh file, a standard (binary) launcher is used instead. You can either use the multi-platform version (without_JRE) and launch it with a command line, or edit Info.plist, to add the option to JVMArguments. in order to instruct OmegaT *not* to use team support (so I can use Git in the projects). How can I tell this version not to use team support? Like in all versions, by adding "--no-team" to the command line. E.g., Java -jar OmegaT.jar --no-team See the manual: http://omegat.sourceforge.net/manual-latest/en/chapter.installing.and.running.html#omegat.command.arguments Didier | | | nivaca Colombia Local time: 19:49 TOPIC STARTER Beta problem | Oct 20, 2015 |
Dear Didier, Many thanks for your reply. I am also testing the team features of this version and am quite happy with them (works perfectly with Bitbucket). I wonder: whenever I start the application in this version, the window workspace is all messed up. It seems that if OmegaT stores the workspace, it does not load it by default. (I get a tiny window at the top left corner of my screen, and all the divisions are wrong.) Is this expected in this version? Tha... See more Dear Didier, Many thanks for your reply. (I get a tiny window at the top left corner of my screen, and all the divisions are wrong.) Is this expected in this version? Yes and no. We know the tiny window happens to some users, but developers are not able to reproduce it so far. As far as I know, for other users, using the restoring widget restores the layout. Perhaps your layout file is corrupted, you could try to delete it. See http://omegat.sourceforge.net/manual-latest/en/chapter.files.and.folders.html#user.files To help solve the bug, you could subscribe to the Yahoo support group and describe your problem.
