Hello everybody. You know, every time I finish a project I go to ProZ.com and enter that project in my project history, take my time to fill it out completely, add detailed overall information about the project and try for my client to give me possitive feedback. I've always thought that there was a link somewhere which could take a client to a more detailed view of my project history than the one available my profile which only counts fields and languages.

I need this link now, but I am not sure if it even exists anymore since I cannot find it anywhere... I thought it was like some sort of public portfolio but now I think all my work is just for.. private means? That kind of make no sense.
I am filling out a huge form and they ask me for a list of projects I have worked in the past. I was thinking about entering something like "for a complete project history please refer to www.proz.com/1262459/ph or something.
Is that even possible? Or is Project history just meant for private purposes? ▲ Collapse

Now, what I would like to have is a direct link to a specific project in my project history (PH). If I understand it correctly, at the moment the only way to see my project history is as follows: click a link to my profile -> find the PH section -> open the PH section (by cl... If I understand it correctly, at the moment the only way to see my project history is as follows: click a link to my profile -> find the PH section -> open the PH section (by clicking the plus symbol) -> find a specific project you are interested in.
I'm afraid few prospects will be patient enough to go all that way, hence my question: is it possible to use a direct link to a concrete project in the PH section?

It would really be a boost for translators to be able to generate a Direct Link to the whole project history you know?
Just like web designers have their portfolio, is hard for translators to have one of their own. I've been using my Project History as my portfolio for a while already and it really helps to show clients some proof of your experience.

I'm afraid that no such direct link to one's Project History currently exists, but I agree that this is a good idea. I just added the suggestion to the site's backlog of ideas for improvement.

In the meantime, you can use a link like the following to automatically expand your Project History section and give a direct link to that field in your profile: http://www.proz.com/profile/XXXX?show_mode=project_history#ph
Obviously the XXXX should be replaced with your profile ID number. My profile link is http://www.proz.com/profile/1453688 , so my profile ID is 1453688, for example.
You can use a similar link, http://www.proz.com/profile/XXXX?show_mode=portfolio#port , to do this with your Portfolio.
