Hi, Has anybody tried to translate Wikipedia pages using a CAT Tool? If you follow the recommended translation process described on the Wikipedia website, it seems to imply that the translation should be done directly on the relevant "edit" page, i.e. by typing in the target text and resetting all the links and tags manually... which puts me off a little bit... But the rest... running it through your usual CAT tool and pasting the result into the "edit" page of the target Wikipedia page...
will be the same, since Wikipedia has no import interface. Didier | |
